The old Great Fortune was the best Chinese restaurant in Albuquerque. I had been eating there for 20 years, and the staff were amazing. This isn't Great Fortune anymore, only by name. The portions are smaller, and so is their menu. They load you up with rice and noodles, but hardy any meat or vegetables. They even charge you for water. Very disappointed to say that I won't be coming back to my favorite restaurant after two decades.

This is no longer Great Fortune! Under new owners and should change the name. Food was alright, but it's nowhere near the same quality. I'm deeply saddened. They will be missed!

Under new management new menu not bad food but the sesame chicken is orange chicken sprinkled with sesame seeds

This is no longer the Great Fortune I've been eating at for nearly 20 years. This establishment needs to change it's name. New workers, new decorations on the wall, higher menu prices, and food that is extra bland and clearly designed to save money. This was my family's go to Chinese spot.....not anymore.

Delicious food and friendly service! We ordered jasmine hot tea, egg rolls, and hot and sour soup. My SO got the combination fried rice with added bean sprouts and said it was the best fried rice he'd had in NM in years! I had the #6 dinner combination beef with Chinese vegetables/sweet and sour chicken and subbed the noodles for $2 extra. Veggies were tender-crisp and everything was flavorful.Totally worth the price with large portions and leftovers to bring home. Our two main plates arrived a few minutes apart, but it was no problem as they were prepared fresh to order and came out hot.Wok hei was on point! It hit all the marks when craving Chinese food.Quaint, nicely decorated dining area.Highly recommend! We will be back!

I ordered four lunch entrees and they brought them out to my car in about 10 minutes. I brought it home and OMG! They were so good! And the portions were so much food. I ordered the lunch portions of the 4 dishes and what I got was like a full sized dinner portions. The prices were good as well.So 5 stars for the food5 stars for the service5 stars for the priceThat's like a 15 star review
