I didn’t think it was possible to be better than the Eubank location but I tried the San Mateo shack because it’s closer to home. I was a little worried I’d be disappointed as Eubank shack is FIRE. Well to my happy surprise the San Mateo shack is even more 🔥🔥🔥 FIRE. Lucky 🍀 me as I won’t need to drive as far, second time this week. I’ve tried the falafel and the spicy bacon gyro. I wasn’t a fan of the baklava, too
Much cinnamon it was like a churro baklava, maybe it was on purpose and others probably love it. It wasn’t enough to lower my rating. I still say go Now! Gyro shack (either location) is THE place for Greek Fusion in the 505.“

“If you love the flavors of the Mediterranean, this is your destination for a magical experience. Everything was perfect. The cocktails were delicious and subtle, I had four of the Aloi, I tip my hat to the bartender. My friend and I shared the Tiropita for an appetizer, it felt like having dessert before the main entree. It was a wonderful combination of either feta or cream cheese with a delicate flaky filo dough. My friend had the steak salad and he was overwhelmed with the perfectly seasoned and cooked steak and the balance of salad fixings...he said it was one of the best meals of his life. I had the grilled pork chop, which was huge and exquisitely seasoned to absolute perfection. I chose the feta mash potatoes and the grilled asparagus, a fine accompaniment, so delicious! One of the best meals of my life! The waitstaff were attentive and fun, they humored every request with a focused sincerity. If you enjoy fine dining, then you must put Dorothea on your map...brace yourself for excellence.“

“Food was great, I got stared at by a homeless guy while I ate through the glass windows and the staff didn’t do anything and actually one of the restaurant patrons went to chase him off. My mom thanked the lady taking plates away and the lady never said anything back. One of the weirdest dining experiences of my life but the lamb was amazing, would recommend to anyone.“

“Absolutely phenomenal experience from start to finish! The moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. The food was nothing short of incredible—authentic Greek flavors, fresh ingredients, and beautifully presented dishes. The lamb gyro was amazing and the tzatziki was some of the best I’ve ever had.“

“If you do not have allergies, I recommend Milly's as the food is very tasty. HOWEVER, if you have allergies, I do not recommend it. I told my server I had a soy allergy and she needed to make sure the kitchen was aware. I noticed she did NOT make note of it on the order form. I should have questioned it when my food arrived but I did not. I am speculating that they use soy bean oil in their fryer. Fortunately my allergy is moderate instead of severe so I was "just" MISERABLE for 2+ days. I contacted them through their website but never heard back from them so I am guessing they do not care. Sad since their food is good and the service is as well.“
