We absolutely love buying Gruet at our local grocery store or liquor store here in Albuquerque. So, we signed up for one of their dinners, an evening of paella. The paella was delicious, as was the brut rosé. However, for $100 for two, I expect a bigger portion of paella and better service. Plastic plates and cutlery were a disappointment. When we left, we had to get some fries :)! Further, it would be nice if the dinner guests were seated at a table rather than instructed to...
I have been here a couple times with friends. The staff has been very attentive and super friendly, the ambiance is inviting, and overall a great place to hang out with friends. Sam gave us the tour of the castle and it's very clean and well kept. Super interesting!
Our local chapter of an international professional organization has had several social events at Gruet. Yesterday evening's event was wonderful! Sam was a marvelous host and bartender. Great wine along with terrific food provided by Honey and Goat. Thanks Gruet!
