Drive thru or walk up service. Hefty gyro, full of meat. I thought this place was really good for a fast gyro. I don't have any complaints. Staff was super nice also.

I got here right at 7 or a minute before and they turn me away saying they where closed didn’t even try to accommodate even though everything was still on and cooking , you would think that for a new business they would try to win people over

This is my second night in a row eating here, I really loved it! I got the deluxe gyro with chicken and I'm hooked. I'm telling everyone to try it out now.
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥😋 the shack is FIRE! I didn’t think it was possible to be better than the Eubank location but I tried the San Mateo shack because it’s closer to home. I was a little worried I’d be disappointed as Eubank shack is FIRE. Well to my happy surprise the San Mateo shack is even more 🔥🔥🔥 FIRE. Lucky 🍀 me as I won’t need to drive as far, second time this week. I’ve tried the falafel and the spicy bacon gyro. I wasn’t a fan of the baklava, too Much cinnamon it was like a churro baklava, maybe it was on purpose and others probably love it. It wasn’t enough to lower my rating. I still say go Now! Gyro shack (either location) is THE place for Greek Fusion in the 505.

I've passed by a few times. We were headed somewhere else today but decided to try this healthier option. Drive-thru was fine & simple. Looked like there were quite a few food options on the menu, but we got the basic gyro. I ordered the combo, but for some reason the guy didn't hear my order from the driver's seat, so we did a recap at the window. No problem. Glad I made this choice. We loved our gyros. Perfect texture, & ratio of meat to pita to sauce & veggies. Fries (crinkle cut) I ordered ordered were fine. I generally prefer homemade chips (not an option, personal preference). The service was friendly, polite, professional & not rushed. An added ending plus were the white chocolate chip lemon(?) cookies added in. It was the 'icing on the cake', so to speak. Tasty, not too crumbly & not too soft. I will definitely be coming back here regularly & highly recommending it to friends.
