Tried this place out for the first time today. Got teriyaki steak and chicken at the Teppan. The food was delicious and the chef was hilarious! Come here so they stay open and I can continue to enjoy their food for as long as possible!

First time visiting this restaurant. I had heard about the place and based off some of the reviews I read, I just had to check this place out. I have to say, I'm impressed! I arrived 15 minutes before they opened and the staff was so nice they let us in and allowed us to wait inside. The staff was so welcoming and friendly. We were seated a few minutes after and let me just start off by saying, our chef was amazing! He really went above and beyond all while he made a show while cooking our food. I had the New York Steak with Shrimp. My buddy had the salmon. Our chef joked with us giving us good laughs, did a few juggling acts, and really put on a great show. We had a fun time while he was at the grill. These guys really have a way of making you feel welcomed. The food was so delicious! I recommend trying the Teriyaki sauce! Our chef told us that all of their sauces are homemade except for the soy sauce. You can tell the chef really loves what he does and it reflected in his culinary style. The steak was cooked perfect just as I asked, medium. They use some top quality meat that wasn't too tough or stringy. Even the shrimp was top quality and cooked excellent! The vegetables were a bonus! The real surprise for us was the amount of food we received. I had not expected the generous proportions we were given. Let me tell you, I savored every bite! It's no surprise that this place quickly became my new favorite! I am definitely going to be returning! Thumbs up! My deepest compliments to the chef!

I came here for lunch last week with friends and was quite impressed. I had chicken and vegetables. The chicken was tender, the vegetables were fresh and everything was cooked perfectly. The fried rice was also excellent. And, the price was reasonable to boot, in the $10 range. A few days later, I decided to return for dinner with my wife and had the opposite experience. I ordered steak and vegetables. The steak was overcooked and seemed old. My wife ordered sliced steak and it too was overcooked. The ingredients in the fried rice included what seemed like frozen vegetables. The service was good - but the price was outrageous for basically the same quantity of food. $64 including a 20% tip for 2 people. No appetizers or alcohol. The place was empty at 7pm except for us. Another couple came in when we were about to leave. I think it'll be awhile until I return. Hopefully they'll get things sorted out.
My husband and I took our family for lunch and the food was amazing! Beautiful atmosphere and friendly staff. Our Cook was funny and talented! We will definitely be coming back!!

Im not going to lie, the place needs a little work. The fried rice was dry and bland, and the yakisoba was overcooked. The sushi was lumpy and falling apart. Also we were given the teppan menu when seated at a non teppan table, did see the teppan show and it looked good. I plan to try them again in about a month.

Great spot for some tasty food! The restaurant has a nice and open layout. It's conveniently located in Nob Hill where you can stop in and have a nice lunch or dinner and take a nice stroll after. Plenty of options as far as appetizers, tempura rolls and entrees go. They have the option of sitting at a regular table, or if you're up for some entertainment you can sit around the grill and have your food prepared teppanyaki style!

This is probably my favorite Teppan Grill restaurant in Albuquerque! The restaurant itself is hip and nicely decorated. The food is delicious and fresh! The staff is friendly and attentive. I'll definitely be back again for sure. It's better than Azuma and in a great location!

It's way BETTER than other Teppan grill places. It's intimate and has a homey feeling to it. The ingredients are so fresh and delicious! The servers and cooks are so welcoming.
