I went to High Noon the night before because I was craving steak. It was so delicious that I wanted to return to try one of their New Mexican entrees. The blue corn enchiladas with chicken did not disappoint. It was flavorful, beautifully presented and extremely satisfying. The Grande Margarita that I got was also outstanding. If I live in ABQ this would be a regular haunt! Until next time, High Noon.
High Noon was highly recommended by staff at the hotel where I was staying. The steak was excellent and the mushroom and potato enchiladas were unique and delicious. The menu offered bread on request and I like good bread so I asked for it. It was a couple of unimpressive dinner rolls that were also stale. I spoke to my server and she offered to bring me new ones. The new ones were slightly warm on top and chilled n the middle. I don't understand why the rest of the meal was so wonderful and the bread was so poor. I would definitely eat there again but I wouldn't ask for bread.
Server was great, bartender was great, drinks were excellent, we ordered two tenderloins and they were the steaks I've had in years. The tacos and rellenos were very good the server readily substituted calabacitas for rice. My wife ordered a green chile cheeseburger, medium rare. The hamburger was overcooked, dry and had the consistency of shoe leather. The fries were cold and rubbery. We've had better burgers at Blakes. We'll go back, but will never order the green chile cheeseburger again.
We love the history of this place in Old Town Albuquerque. The service was good but the menu a bit limited. Prickly Pear margarita and my steak were both delicious. The weird mushroom and polenta? enchilada served with it was not. There were no vegetables served with the steak - the server might have mentioned this. I would have ordered a salad. My friend liked her shrimp pasta dish. The guys said their food was just okay (Mexican dishes). Average dining experience.
One of the best restaurants I have ever eaten, the bar tender was fantastic and the owner was next level at creating a great experience!
Love this historic restaurant! Their margaritas are amazing and the food is super yummy. I think the beef bites appetizer is a must!
Made reservations for NYE based on the high rating, but was continously disappointed throughout the meal. High Noon did not anticipate that their customers would want to eat the signature dish and ran out of mash potatoes by the time of our 6:30 p.m. reservation. The seating area in the bar was cold even though their was a fireplace that would have provided warmth and ambience. Lighting could also be improved. The wait staff was kind but inattentive. If High Noon was not going to bring their A-Game for NYE then they should have been closed for the night.
Always very accommodating to my reservation and table request. I change my mind a lot! 🫣 Andre was very entertaining and nice addition to this place. PLEASE DONT EAT HERE AND NOT GET THE BEEF TIPS. Steak Frites and brisket relleno are also so delish!
First, we got into the restaurant and they stuck us into the back area. Pretty chilly in the back no heat set down. My mother ordered a glass of tea and they said they had no iced tea. They had no hot water. They couldn’t make coffee. We ordered our appetizers which the chili con queso was watery very watery down. I would not recommend this restaurant for locals maybe for tourist. We ordered our dinner. My parents ordered their dinner and it came out wrong. My hamburger was dry. My brother-in-law ordered enchiladas with no lettuce. They came out smothered and lettuce. The food and the service was lousy. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone that thinks they’re gonna get a good dinner and a good meal top it off to use the men’s restroom. It was dirty the toilet set up on a pedestal and urine all over the floor.
Set on a quiet street in the north part of old town Albuquerque, is this hidden gem. Amazing food and great service. It's a little on the pricey side but for the location and atmosphere, you can't really beat it. You can tell that the building is really old and they have done a great job of keeping it up.
I would recommend having a reservation, which is very easy to make, so save yourself the frustration and call or go online ahead time, like we did.
Oh yeah ..... The cheese cake is AMAZING!

Love the vibe, food was kind of bland. But great service. Cocktails might as well have been Kool-Aid... No kick to them.

The customer service here is awesome, but the food not so much. I would probably never come back here again because of the food but the Server, that was serving us was an awesome server.
