Fry bread tacos and green chile cheeseburger! Omgosh, amazing! I have been in NM for 1.5 years and have traveled all over the state eating the GC cheeseburgers, on you by far are the best! I had been wanting to try this place ever since they won the Green Chile Cheeseburger Challenge at the New Mexican State Fair. The burger was absolutely delicious! I had to wait about 20 minutes, but it was worth the wait! The fry bread was really good. I ordered a frito pie burrito but received a breakfast burrito, so that bummed me out. I went around 11:30 and it wasn’t too busy, but by noon the lunch rush was crazy which was a good indicator that people really enjoy eating here.

Isleta Grill falls short in a few areas. The customer service wasn’t particularly welcoming, and the staff seemed bothered, possibly due to it being near the end of the day. A surprising downside is the $1 charge for water, as no courtesy cups are offered. While the burger was rated #1 at the NM State Fair, it doesn’t quite live up to the hype, so if you’re not able to visit due to their limited Monday-Friday hours, you’re not missing much.
Who closes at 3:00 in the afternoon? Most people work until 5:00 or 6. :00 and then most people are off on weekends and you're closed on weekends so nobody can ever try this place

This is not a review. So you win contest at state fair so many in Albuquerque such as ourselves want to now try it. We work m-f like most so it would be nice to take a nice drive out there Saturday or Sunday. Low and behold their hours say close. Well guess you'll be losing out on alot of potential first time customers. Guess we'll try the other winner , Craft Republic
