Isleta grill has accomplished a NM State Fair competition for the best green chili cheese burger twice now. I'm physically hindered of attending the State Fair & went to Isleta grill. They did not disappoint. Although next time I will switch the cheese. So I ordered it exactly as it was prepared for the judges & it was incredible.

Unfortunately, we had just eaten so we weren’t hungry for a meal, but we did end up getting fry bread with powdered sugar. It was great! Everything on their menu and on the plates of the other customers looked and smelled delicious. We will definitely stop for food if we ever come this way again.

The food is always very yummy good, fresh and fast. My favorite is their ribbon Fry's we go often and highly recommend ❤️ the only thing is they are closed weekends.

They have good cheeseburgers so I thought I’d try the breakfast bowl. It’s all processed frozen food. Frozen balls of sausage and bagged frozen potatoes. No Bueno for me! I was disappointed.

After seeing great reviews about this place decided to try it. Ordered 1of each, Indian taco, taco burgers, Frito burrito smothered green, State Fair burger (this burgershould come with a warning, lol. Chile is burn your mouth hot!! Should have asked what kind of chile. Might be jalapeño!), ribbon fries, and a breakfast burrito. Frito burrito not smothered, they forgot the breakfast burrito (called them and will have to go back because I was charged for it). Indian taco good, but soggy. Loved the ribbon fries. Taco burgers didn't live up to the hype, and behind counter cashier was not friendly.

Now this place won the best Green Chile Cheeseburger and I don't know how. This is a non-seasoned burger with just a ton of green chile. And not a green chile sauce or anything just chunks of green chile. I find that if you want to know if a place makes good food here in New Mexico, get it without the green chile. If the food is still good the green chile should just make it better. This place has failed that test, it's just a plan nothing burger. Add the chile and you might as well just eat a raw green chile because that's all you will taste. Go to Big Mikes Burger in Belen, it's way better. Now the breakfast burrito is awesome, but I think the bacon helps add the salt needed to the burrito to make it all come together, and the chile just adds to it. Swing and a miss on the burger.

Fry bread tacos and green chile cheeseburger! Omgosh, amazing! I have been in NM for 1.5 years and have traveled all over the state eating the GC cheeseburgers, on you by far are the best!
