Best Chinese Food in town ! Unfortunately they've either changed location or have been bought out by some new chinese place that cannot compare

Food is freshly made to order, attentive staff and quaint, unassuming interior

I believe they changed ownership or something but we gave it a try because we used to love Kai's sooo much and now it's not as great. Lots and lots of egg in fried rice, beef fried rice smelled like shrimp, it wasn't even fried with soy sauce so no flavor. Egg rolls are not very good the inside was mush. Wouldn't recommend. I also felt sick all day after eating this.

One of the best places to eat around UNM. Lunch specials are bomb!

I absolutely adore this place. The staff are always extremely courteous and the food is a delight. This is my home away from home. It is budget friendly and perfect for college students like me. Their orange chicken is ridiculously delicious (like INCREDIBLY) and they have the BEST egg drop soup I've ever tasted in Albuquerque. Did I also mention that the portions are huge? And the pork buns- oh my god. I'm craving their food right now as I write this. Again, I adore this place. I'm sure you will too!

Very good place to eat. The food is consistently high quality, the service is friendly and fast, the portions for the price is good and they place is clean. They have good lunch specials.

I'm on a quest seeking the city's best MooShu. Kai's disappointed. I checked with the server to make certain their MooShu had egg, and was assured yes. When it got to the table, no egg. I ordered it spicy, when it got to the table, no pequin chilis, no spice. When I complained I was brought chili oil to add! The pancakes were good, and there was plenty of veg served, but plenty of no-egg MooSu was not my goal. I won't go back, disappointed.

This place was my parents date night restaurant years ago and for good reason. The food is delicious every time, good prices, quick service and a clean, quiet environment. Highly recommend !

The egg drop soup is amazing! From all the places I've eaten, their soup is definitely the best! As for the dish I ordered, which was lo mein noodles, I say it was good but it didn't have too much flavour. I also had the pork buns which were DELICIOUS.

I've been eating here since 2005, quality and value have remained consistent. Can't get enough of the cashew chicken!

Nice little Chinese food restaurant with friendly staff and good service. Both of our lunches were very tasty. Give them a try.

Quiet, cozy and friendly. Our waitress recognized us, and greeted us like long lost friends. The food is great, and prices are affordable. We will be back!!!

I used to come here all the time in the late 90's through mid 2000's, it has gone down hill. They say no MSG, that is not true! MSG is abused. The oil they fried the appetizers in was rancid, and most of the apps were frozen, not freshly made. The chicken was old/out of date. My nostalgia of this place has died, just like my stomach right now from the MSG
