So I really am not one to complain especially on social media ,but I want to give out a WARNING for anyone eating at KATHYS CARRYOUT to CHECK YOUR TRANSACTIONS❗ but on Wednesday I went to Kathy's and all I ordered was a bean and cheese burrito and two plain sopapillas, I was charged my total which was $9.82. Last night I almost 2:00 in the morning I got a notification thing that my total was updated for a tip which I never put in they charged me the exact same amount $9.82 . I know it isn't a lot and honestly I wasn't even going to make a big deal about it, but today when I called and asked to speak to Kathy they told me that she no longer owned the business and that they would take a number and a name and have someone call me back. I then asked to speak to a manager and was told that the manager goes in whenever she wants and doesnt tell them her schedule , the lady I spoke to was so rude to me and I had asked her name and she hung up on me I then called back and asked her again what her name was and she sat there and argued with me and told me she wasn't going to give me her name because she didn't know who i was. Again I am not one to make a big deal but I cannot believe how rude and unprofessional this lady was and sadly the truth is still going to come out but I am posting this because I cannot get a hold of anybody who is in charge they won't give me a number or anything I understand people have schedules and they're busy but as far as I've known Kathy has never been a rude or ugly person so to have people like this who are not only stealing from their customers but treating people like this is unacceptable. She was upset because she wanted to know why I called, I just said I had a complaint but I wanted to speak to someone higher up, (Incase an employee is really stealing and the manager or owner don't know) it could have easily been a mistake to be cleared up but I'm beginning to think otherwise after this encounter. It's sad you choose to support a local business instead of a big chain and you get treated like crap in return. Not that it matters , but I won't be going back. I can get over charged somewhere else lol.

I can't believe the price of a chile fries $9:50 a lg $8 a small I know the prices go up but dam she really bumped them up in a month sad as hell. Kathy some of your food is good but your prices a long with economy is crazy period

I can't stand this place.I don't even eat here anymore. Even just the last time I had to go with my fiancé.It took twenty minutes in line, After Placing my order thirty minutes prior. In my opinion , the food is always junk. They mess up our order every single time. This last time with the 20 minute wait was all for forgetting fries. The prices are way too high for this kind of quality. I don't see why other people like it. I have not been to that place once without them getting something wrong. Or taking absolutely forever, Or in my opinion getting served cold food.

They need to bring back the original salsa whatever they did to it it's dark it's gross it doesn't have any flavor to it and I'm talking about the salsa they give you with your tacos and your taquitos
In the South Valley just around the bend is where Kathy's is. It is so worth the drive! (I go out of my way to get there)They have awesome burgers for sure 😊 ❤️

Best Bean and cheese burrito with green Chile and chicharron. Haven't tried much else because that burrito is 🔥🔥. Northern New Mexico Spanish flavor, yummy!

They’ve failed inspections, rude customer service and then all the negative feedback provided for this restaurant from others as well in the ABQ foodie group I never went back and never recommend. People have their preferences and I don’t prefer this place because of the above.

Food has potatoes mixed with meat and don't have a choice unless you get carne adovada,rude if you don't speak Spanish.
