First Visit: I thought the service was good and polite, and, I really liked my bagels and the sandwich. Although it's far, I may have found my new favorite bagel place. And yes, I do think I prefer the bagels here over the Sunday's Pop-up Bagels 🥯 Yaaaasss, I said it! Lol 🙂 ***Update. Maybe this should be a 1. Not sure what has happened to this place, and it's clearly going through something. 7/2/24, 9:15 ish short red-headed girl wiping her nose with her hands, despite having gloves on and handling food. People can't get your name straight to save their lives. Got home, and had the wrong bagels bagged to top it off?! What the heck?! The guy verified the order a couple times. Called to talk to manager and some guy named Peter could honestly give two f's and said we could drive all the way back over to get the correct bagels. Yeah no. Not happening. I won't be back. Like ever. Get it together please. ****2nd Update: Placed a phone order today 4/25/25 9:15 AM. It has been a while and figured I'd give them another shot since I was in rne area. The cashier sounded very distracted and frustrated. They claimed that they were super busy however, when I arrived, there were only two people in the restaurant and a bunch of people gathered in the back talking. When I finally got home, which is over 10 miles away, my order was completely wrong, even though the person repeated it back to me three times when I placed the order at 9:45. I'm so done with this train wreck. They are such a hot mess!! They refunded me, however, no more chances for this place. They need to get it together. There's no quality control at all. 3rd visit, spaced out, and it was still horrible.

Truly some of the best bagels outside of the east coast. We drive an hour just to get their bagels. The pretzel bagel with scallion schmear is heavenly!

You wouldn’t believe it if I told you. But yep, there’s a legit NY Bagel shop in ABQ.

Arguably one of the best breakfast bagels I’ve ever had. Good size, the bagel itself was fresh, the bacon and egg was spectacular! I’d give the bagel 10 stars if I could. Solid option for breakfast if you’re around Old Town.

The staff was super friendly and the food came out super quick.

Highly recommend this place!

Good bagels and toppings, just a little pricier than regular bagel places we got in Jersey.

I got the green chile cheddar bagel. I could see some speckles of green chile but couldn’t taste it. It was small and taste was underwhelming. I couldn’t see or taste the cheddar. The green chile schmear didn’t have any green chile taste but a very heavy garlic taste. We waited almost 40min for 2 bagels with schmear and 1 breakfast bagel. We’ve been to SEVERAL super small bagel shops and have never waited this long. Per other reviews, looks like this is a normal wait time. With that wait time, I expected our food to be hot but all was cold. I think it would be helpful for staff to inform customers that there is such a LONG wait time on breakfast bagels due to them being made on a one burner stove. Setting expectations can make a world of difference in customer service. Unfortunately, the bagels weren’t worth the long wait. I much prefer Sunday Bagels! Sadly, even Smiths green chile/ cheddar bagels are FAR superior. My family has REALLY been looking forward to this place but wasn’t our cup of tea. I also thought it was very expensive for what we got. $45 for 3 bagels, and 4 drinks. On the plus side, the lady taking our order was very friendly.

Went here to get a lox bagel, took 40 minutes to get it… I work at a coffee shop so I know how busy it can get and it takes an extra minute to get orders out. But waiting 40 minutes for a bagel is way too long and there were only 3 people ahead of me.

We are new to the area & read that this owner was from/trained in NY, so we thought we’d give it a try.
I’m from NY and the bagels were ok ( I know water & atmospheres have a lot to do with the production process)
I did find that the bagels and sandwiches are small & way overpriced.
