For me this location has always been friendly cooperative and reasonable. Today after ordering my food I asked for the bathroom key and use the bathroom. It was stopped and clean. While I was in the bathroom somebody took my food and I didn't realize it. I waited a while and then they asked me if I was waiting on food. I said yes and they made my order and even gave me an extra chicken leg. Chicken with Crispy and hot thank you KFC San Mateo

I had a very disappointing experience at the KFC on San Mateo. Not only did they forget the sauces that were supposed to come with our order, but the gravy container was not sealed properly and spilled all over the chicken tenders box and the inside of our car. By the time we got home, the food was a mess and completely unappetizing.
When we brought the issue to their attention, the staff — including Joceline — were rude, dismissive, and showed no concern for the mistake or the inconvenience. There was no apology, no offer to fix the situation, and absolutely no sense of customer service.
For a company of this size, the lack of care, quality control, and basic courtesy is unacceptable. I don’t plan on returning, and I would not recommend this location to anyone expecting decent service or properly handled food.

Got 2 breasts, biscuit, mashed potatoes and a large drink. Biggest, juiciest breasts I've ever had from a fast-food restaurant. Service was fast and friendly too. The restaurant was very clean.

The service was good and the food tasted fresh I only go tho for the wings and the famous bowl...I love there wings ..on my top wing list ..but I dont like that they only have Pepsi and root beer..

Always out of chicken, especially extra crispy. This isn’t the only location like this there are several. Some of the counter people are VERY rude and need to be let go. Getting fed up with same excuse of “I’m sorry we’re out of chicken”. It’s disappointing.

The gentleman who waited on us wasn’t very helpful with his menu items but he was nice. They were out of almost everything including sides. We just wanted chicken and asked if specific pieces were available , the gentleman said yes but what we got wasn’t what we asked for but we took it anyways. The place was empty of customers.

It was a mistake to come to kfc. The drive thru took forever, and they didn't get the order right. We figured we would just walk in to fix it and they have locked the dinning room. They are scared to face their customers.

Every time I go to the drive up to order food, they don't have it in stock or yeah. Have to wait for it to be processed. This is not the first time this has been many times I try to avoid this KFC, but sometimes I drive in and think it'll be okay. Nope, the same thing happened again.Wait 👎
