Ordered Taco Loco and specifically asked for it in a soft shell. More than once. Taco salad came in a hard shell. Someone came out and explained that they couldn't make it. My husband ate his order. I am still hungry. The least they could have done was perked our bill. My order was sent directly back to kitchen. Don't go there.

The restaurant has changed from what it was but it’s still GREAT food that isn’t expensive the new owner is very nice and the inside is just as clean and cozy as ever thanks for the food ?

Wonderful mexican food. This is the second time we have been here. It is "off the beaten path." I had two chile rellenos with green chili. BEST green chili and Rellenos I have had in ages. Green chili to drive miles for! Very friendly staff. Lots of Hispanic families.

First visit for a lunch organized by a social group leader. Both food and service were outstanding. Pretty extensive menu with all the New Mexico favorites available. Our food was prepared without a lot of hot peppers or spices and served with choices of chiles and condiments so you could set your own level.
Exceptionally good asada, even by our bountiful options here in the South Valley! I got the asada fries and was a bit worried about the $13 price tag initially, but the portion is huge and they don't skimp on toppings, including a generous helping of guac. I ordered to go, and was helped by two very friendly ladies in a small but comfortable setting. I will be coming here again, this food is really amazingly good!

Me and my friend ate here and it was absolutely delicious! We ate the mexican burgers, they came with fries. Totally a new favorite and can't wait to eat there again! Plus the people working there were so friendly and nice! The food was definitely worth it! The only thing we didn't like was the fact that somehow no one was there trying out or ordering their amazing food! 10/10 loved it, really friendly, underrated.

Its not Lonchera Norteñitos anymore. Its called La Parrillada Mexican Restaurant(family owned) and its something worth trying. Food is delicious and full of flavor. The grillled meats are to die for and the tacos too. Check it out!

ABUELITA’s New Mexican Kitchen is a delicious dining experience in the South Valley. For starters, we ordered Chips and Salsa, Chile con Queso and the Guacamole Salad. Everything – the salsa, the cheese, the guacamole - was very tasty – even the chips were crispy and flavorful. For main dishes, I ordered the Beef Fajitas and my wife ordered the 3-Taco Plate – both meals were perfectly cooked – and the portions were big! We weren’t planning on dessert, but their “Yum Yum Cake” sounded intriguing – and it was indeed very Yum Yum! Service was excellent and prices extremely reasonable. The dining room exuded a strong ‘south western’ ambience. We’ll be back! Highly recommended.
