Loved the Prickly Pear margarita! My food was wonderful I had the Navajo Taco plate. I chose the beef and red sauce. It was delicious. This is not a corn tortilla taco. The lettuce, tomato, cheese, beef and sauce are served on a piece a puffy fried bread. It was delicious. I will definitely eat here again and next time I try this with chicken and the green sauce. ?
I ate here about 6 years ago and was so looking forward to it again our first day back in ABQ. The chips were fresh, but extremely greasy. The service was good, in spite of being under COVID restrictions. The quesadilla my little nephew had was FILLED with cheese, but it made it too rich for him, so the rest of us ate it. The sopapillas at the end of the meal were also greasy and were not very appetizing. The honey helped. Perhaps these changes from before were due to restrictions,...
Tried to find a place for nachos and Margaritas en came across La placita. It had a nice cozy atmosphere with natural lighting and delicious margaritas.The waitress was nice and attentive will come back again.
