Had a lovely dinner with friends. We ended up with more people than expected but they happily accommodated us. The food, the atmosphere, the staff, and the drinks all were lovely. Look forward to coming back!

Great service and ambiance but the food was lacking. Lobster bisque was terrible but the French onion soup was good. Main meals seemed very salty. I was not crazy about Le Troquet and I really wanted to love it. I've been spoiled by visiting Paris many times; perhaps my expectations were a little too high.

Le Trouquet offers a wide wine list and a well versed menu that is decadent, delicious and beautifully presented! The cozy atmosphere and the excellent service provided by Ashley has left the best impression. We will be coming back again and again.

We had a reservation last night to celebrate a family birthday. We showed up to a closed restaurant...locked door, no sign, no explanatory phone call. Very disappointing.

Amazing food, great service, wonderful atmosphere. Definitely recommend for a special occasion

Today was my second time here, not as good as the first time but ok. The bisque was watery and grainy absent was the cream and a nugget of lobster. The rolls were in the oven too long, too overdone on the crust. The Steak was ok but lukewarm to chilled, the pork dish was ok, the Duchess potatoes were really good as were the fresh vegetables. Presentation of the pork dish was gloppy but apparently very good in flavor. The crème brullie was ok with the berries on top but the dollops of whipped topping was over the top and too sweet. I can say that the service was great and the place was clean. It is so nice to eat at a place that has crisp white tablecloths. I will definitely come back for more.

I've been several times to Le Troquet and I can't say enough good things. The bread is enough to keep you going back, but it doesn't have to be, because everything on the menu is exquisite, authentic French cuisine - down to the creamiest creme brulee I've ever eaten. This is the French restaurant that Albuquerque has been waiting for and I feel lucky to work downtown so close to food this delicious. They are always busy, yet always efficient and super friendly. I recommend this little gem very highly, and I would also recommend making a reservation, especially for dinner- they are a small, quaint restaurant with limited seating.

Had reservations. Arrived less than 10 min late. Waited over 1 hr by small bathroom hall. Were told that they took people off waiting list and we should continue waiting. Manager was rude, seems like staff has a bully mentality. Full house on arrival. Empty tables when left after over 1 hr wait. Seems they overbooked and didn’t want to take responsibility for it. Nobody took my last name, phone number at booking. Time was confirmed several times. Manager tried to tell us booked was for much earlier. We waited and were willing to wait since it would have been 1st experience there. Place seems like a remodeled version of home. It was the rudeness and entitlement of the management that made us walk out.

Decided to try this place because it’s close to my work downtown. I walk in at 12:30 pm to find the place completely empty. Yet, I’m told they can’t sit me because I don’t have a reservation. I don’t buy it. Just another one of those places that wants to appear fancy by mistreating people and turning customers away. Will not return nor recommend.

Wonderful authentic French fare. Cute small place downtown ABQ. The service is always top notch and I love the moules marinière, steak frites, rack of lamb, onion soup and more Best crème brûlée ever

Horrible food ?

Escargots was amazing! The scallops special was good, but in hindsight, I should have gone with the lamb chops

I wish there were more stars to give to this place, because it certainly deserves it. I had one of the best meals I've had in a very long time. From start to finish, I would give it a 10. Ambience. The service, and the food were outstanding.I had the trout, and it was exceptional. My companions had the steak Frits and the mussels all equally excellent. Our table grew quiet as we ate; very good sign as we dove into it and didn't chat. It's a very small place and quite cozy, I felt like I was in a café in Paris. We had a leisurely dinner that lasted three hours, and never felt rushed. We ended with a dessert of crème brûlée and chocolate mousse.I can't say enough good things about this place, and we will be back again and again and again .

The atmosphere and service are great. Small intimate restaurant with attentive service. The food was disappointing.Positives, bread, onion soup, dessert, and espresso were great. Excellent wine list, small but high quality.Negatives, entrees were average. Au Poivre sauce was thick and more of a gravy, no taste and cold. The quality of the filet was average and not seasoned. Sole Milanaise, again sauce was thick and far too much lemon and over took the capers. Rice was cold and needed salt.Really wanted to love this restaurant, but based on the first visit, it will be hard to return at the price and quality of the entrees.
