The food was delicious!!! We ordered To Go, which took a bit long, but worth it! It was made with lots of flavor and love. I normally like red sauce, but it was hot for me this time and the green taste was great! Driving in was pretty tight. I drove in with a big truck and it was a challenge parking in and getting out. Cars shouldn’t have much of a problem. I totally recommend giving this place a try.

This place has carnitas that could put even a good BBQ restaurant to shame!I got the carnitas tacos, and they were masterclass! The carnitas was perfectly cooked, tender, and was far from bland. Not to mention, these are 100% authentic tacos with onion, cilantro, and a salsa verde!I came back Los Olivos and had their chicken enchiladas. So far, this is the only chicken enchilada I have had at a sit down restaurant in New Mexico that didn't have dry chicken! A saving grace! In fact, it was cooked perfectly and quite juicy! The red chile on that enchilada was a bit sweet. I wasn't expecting that, but it was still quite good and complemented the chicken quite well. And of course, I had to come back for round 3 to get some quesabirria tacos. They nailed it again! In one word, I'd describe them as balanced. They were spicy, both in heat and in flavor, but not overwhelmingly so. The broth had just the right amount of salt, and if there is one thing I love about those tacos, it's the strong notes of onion present. The chips were also fresh and crispy as (censored)! Their salsa is also fantastic, as it also has strong notes of onion.Well done Los Olivos! I have been back multiple times now and you are still my standard for what a good Mexican Restaurant should be. 10/10!

The Berria tacos were flavorful meat was tender. Neighborhood was sketchy. Bu there is a fence around the parking lot. The restaurant was small, so come early for a seat. Very clean, nice place.

Stopped in for lunch around 1:45 today. Could not have picked a better time. A co-worker and myself where the only guest. Pretty cool set up, looks like an old house with about 10 tables. Clean and prompt service. Menu had a good amout of options but we stopped in for the tacos. We both order the Brirria tacos. They brought out chips and salsa and our food showed up shortly after. The tacos had great flavor without the dipping broth. I tried it on a few but was more interested in the red chile sauce that came with it. We ordered just the 4 tacos but you have the option of adding beans and rice for a few bucks more. Will be eating there again next time I am in the area and hungry. They have plenty of parking for the the amout of seating.

Ah another hole-in-the-wall. My favorite type of Mexican restaurant. Located in a repurposed house it's small, minimal tables but there's a patio area. Grab a menu and decide our breakfast. Order at the counter and wait for delivery of our menudos. While we wait we bought a package of Gorditas de Leche. They were not overly sweet, definitely good. The menudo arrived in huge bowls accompanied by toasted bread. I keep forgetting that most places we've been to serve bread instead of tortillas. The Menudo was excellent, good mix of meat to broth and best of all - not a lot of grease. Definitely a great stop this morning. My only issue was it was a little hard to navigate parking. It's not well defined as a parking area. We parked on the street and went thru a gate.

I love this place. The staff is friendly and the food is so yummy and they have the best birria tacos I have ever had. They have so much more options than the Birria tacos such as other classic mexican dishes. I will definitely be going back to try more!

Los Olivos is one of the best, Mexican food restaurants in the city. Their service is top-notch. They’re friendly, attentive, and timely.. Food is well crafted using high quality ingredients. And, the presentation is careful and thoughtful. I would have given the atmosphere five stars, and will say that the interior of the café is beautifully decorated, but it’s a little crowded, and the parking is very limited. Having said that, it is well worth the small inconvenience to get some of the best Mexican Cuisine Albuquerque has to offer. I highly recommend Los Olivos !!

Love this place. I personally think they have the best quesabirria tacos in town and their red salsa is delicious and hot. ?
