Well, I’ve had my first D minus meal in years. Truly terrible. I’ve had California style Mexican food in New Hampshire ten times better than this.

First time here and we loved it!! My burrito was huge and they have a nice salsa selection. Street tacos were awesome as well. Definitely recommend!

I got the caldo de res and it was fantastic! Delicious bite size chunks of tender beef, in a clear broth with potatoes, carrots, corn on the cob, and cabbage. While I waited for the kitchen staff to box up the soup to go, they encouraged me to help my self to self serve chips (crispy and fresh) and the salsa bar. My favorite salsas were the guacamole salsa and the tomatillo salsa. The pico de Gallo, salsa rojo, and pickled veggies were all too sweet for my taste. Each salsa brought some heat which I also appreciated. UNM Students and Staff get a 10% discount! Will definitely be going back with friends.

This is the 3rd time I ordered from this place! The nachos and carne asada torta were delicious ? but today I ordered a carnitas torta and it was disgusting ? I felt like I was eating wire because the pork meat tasted like it was old! Looks like they just lost my service even though I was planning on ordering different things to try! If you continue to sell your carnitas this way you will be losing alot more customers good luck

Establishment is right off Central. If you go at night use the buddy system, just saying. I'd like to see it during the day/summer, it seems like a huge door opens to the patio area. Inside the restaurant is not super big but there is room to sit with a few people. Staff member was friendly and welcoming. Tacos are definitely huge (you could make 2 out of one) and are priced accordingly. Carne asada was good, the pastor was good and the cabeza taco was okay, it was a little too greasy for my liking. Still the taste was decent. Salsas were good. Enjoyed the red salsa and the guacamole type salsa for the pastor taco. I enjoy that there were pickled jalapenos, onion, and carrots. Order with a bottle of coca cola, so good.Parking: Street parking, usually free after hours but if you go during lunch you'll have to pay the meter.

First time here, won’t go back. I got the chicken enchilada plate to go. It came with rice and refried beans. The red sauce was okay and the chicken was diced; it’s as if the ingredients were cooked separately and combined in the end rather than it being a baked casserole dish. The refried beans was the best part. However as I was finishing my plate I felt like I was chewing on a piece of chicken cartilage or a very hard piece of shredded cheese. Thankfully I didn’t swallow because there was plastic wrap in my food. So gross ? I feel sick.

What an incredible little spot! In the saturated tex, mex,Cali style trucks and restaurants, this spot is a gem.Let's start with the frownies. The prices and / or portions should be adjusted, portions too small for the $. Balance. Also, it's close to UNM, so you may offend the roaming wokeflakes.Let's jump in, salsa, salsa, salsa!!! So incredible! It makes the frownies dissolve, and you realize rent is too high by the campus... but back to the taste. The flavors are incredible, rich, sharp, delicious, and authentic, I've tried a variety of combinations, all of them on point. No lime topo Chico, but they do have minerauga to buy and limes if you ask.Customer service is key. Most folks today have become complacent with mediocrity, sameday, and instant garbage served by an NPC. Well, guess what? This gem of a restaurant has had incredible service, incredible food made with fresh ingredients...so you gotta wait ....not long at all ...and even if it is busy, it's worth the wait.Thank you for being one of my favorite new restaurants, supporting and serving our community.

Good service and good food. It made me sad to see there weren’t more people in here she. I ordered, but it was during slow hours on a rainy day and there still was consistent business coming in as I sat down. I’ve seen alot of places go in and out of this building and I hope los victors stays forever ?

Their carne asada burrito is really good. If you’re looking for Mexican food near nob hill this is the spot! The burrito was big for $10, I was looking for a burrito like Filiberto’s back in the days and this was way better! I also had their Carne Asada fries and I give it 5 stars. The kitchen is clean, salsa is spicy, food is flavorful, good portions, and they also offer chips and salsa. There is a good variety of vegetarian options, the staff was friendly in answering our questions.

Ya'll, I've been craving california style mexican food and this tastes just how I remember it. The sauce bar is really good too, you have a lot of options to choose from if you want sauce.I got the california burrito and it was good.Definitely coming back for repeats whenever I'm craving this, and am excited to try out the asada fries and super nacho. (and rolled tacos..)
