I love this place. The food is consistently good, the atmosphere pleasant and it is most usually full of customers. The waitresses stay busy and do not purposely ignore new customers, they are most likely bogged down with keeping customers happy with delivering orders, refills of coffee, tea or water and a panoply of other duties that they perform. They are not at fault. This restaurant has been in existence for 30 years, I knew it when Loyola, the founder opened it and I know that her daughter Sara is doing a fantastic job of continuing the service that Loyola started. I have zero complaints with this restaurant and certainly miss it when I am not in Albuquerque. Albuquerque is very lucky to have a restaurant of this quality.

Had breakfast here with my boys Mike and Hector, pretty good stuff.
Family owned since 1969, the BEST carnitas, Chile, so papillas, and service. Went for breakfast, came back for lunch. Great place, friendly people.

I went there because it was featured in Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul. It was a delightful surprised to find out the breakfast was extremely good. I tried the Loyola Special and the Egg and Carnitas. Extremely taste. Price is good for what you pay and service is very welcoming. So far, it has been the best breakfast restaurant i have been in the United States. This place is a must.

An absolute gem, right here on SE, Central Ave! Good Good Good food! Thanks so much for an excellent breakfast! I am old and my hands don't work so well! ************************* Hope this restaurant stays with us for a long time !
So glad Loyola's was recommended. This is my first time visiting, but will not be my last. We ordered the stuffed sopaipilla and cheese enchiladas with eggs on top. The food came out quickly and it was delicious. The green Chile was hot and tasted great. I can't wait to go back and ordered more delicious food. Great job Loyola's

I hadn't been to Loyola's in a while and I could kick myself. The special was fried bologna and eggs with papa's. I added red and green chile and a tortilla with butter. It was outstanding! I will be back sooner next time.

Such a lovely place for breakfast! Great service, great food, Shannon the server is lovely.
Please note at least one of these one star reviews is absolute nonsense, she wanted free food when she ordered the wrong thing and was abusive to the staff. They treated her with incredible professionalism. We will be back (and are glad she won't be)

Loyalas has REALLY fallen off recently. Their food is absolutely terrible, terrible service with attitude, and they are way to expensive compared to their quality.
