Mac's Steak In the Rough

Now I know why there was only four cars this evening when we arrived at 7 PM. Were do I begin: The gravy was cold, The coleslaw was sour. At least the fries and steak fingers were fresh. The tacos, dont buy them they tasted like they bought the shells from smiths and didnt cook them and put some sort of meat in them. We had a coke and lemonaide with cherry flavor but they put so much cherry flavor , we didnt drink them. My waiter was nice. I drove from the west side for a good dinner. It took long for our meal but thats ok if its fresh. So for the wait we got 2 old brownies dates 9-4-24. I will never ever return to this place. I hope the owner is looking at reviews, I suggest closing this place. Or you need to make surprise incognito visits to see “wth” is going on with your place. It was $68 dollars for two.

Always enjoy Macs. Reminds me of my child hood . One of the last remaining original places to eat only complaint is that it keeps getting more expensive each time I go.

Took 30 minutes for our food to come out to us.our hamburgers were cold this place use be our favorite but after today nope

Used to be pretty good, but prices are way up, portion size is down, and service is terrible. Prices are almost double what’s listed on the Google Maps menu tab. I waited ~25 minutes in the drive thru line with no one in front of me for them to forget the fries with the combo orders and serve brown guacamole.

Your prices are ridiculous now. $18 for a Double Rough and almost $8 for a Taquita Twosome? Almost 30 bucks for toothpick sized steak fingers and two puny taquitas? Don't get me started on your tattooed drive-up window clown. She took 15 minutes to come to the window and forgot my change after another long wait. I've been a customer since I was a kid and I won't be back anytime soon.

***You're cutting your steak fingers in half now. What a scam. What surprises do you have in store for us for September? Lower prices I hope.

This is a childhood staple for me, I am deeply saddened though I ordered a double rough dinner and only got 4 pieces of the steak and paid 21 dollars I feel very ripped off. Will no longer go here even for the nostalgia

Service was okay. Came to my car to be paid but did not bring my food with them. Said my food was ready but that I had to pay 1st. That means my food was sitting there, getting cold. Also the prices had almost doubled since the last time I had been there. $18.00 for lunch for 1 person. Way overpriced.
