My crew and I visited this restaurant for lunch, as we enjoy New Mexican food and wanted to try the place. We came straight from work in our work clothes. Upon entering, we immediately received unpleasant looks from an older woman and a gentleman working there.

After being seated, my team and I were simply talking and laughing among ourselves. The older woman repeatedly made comments such as, “Why are you laughing? Are you stupid?” We chose to ignore the remarks and continued with our meal.

When it was time to order, she was noticeably rude and raised her voice while taking our order. She continued making comments implying we were “stupid” for laughing, even though our conversation had nothing to do with her. When she brought the drinks, chips, and salsa, she slammed them on the table and nearly put her finger in the salsa.

At that point, my crew and I decided it was best to pay for the drinks and chips and leave. Unfortunately, the service and behavior we experienced were unprofessional and very disappointing.

Very good food and service. We are visiting New Mexico and would recommend this restaurant. The owner and the other employees were very sweet and made sure we had everything we needed. The sopapillas were a very nice treat!!

This restaurant has been around for a long time, but we tried it for the first time today. The prices are affordable, (huevos rancheros with meat for $10), the food is delicious and homemade, and the atmosphere is clean!

I love this place!!! ALL is the food is prepared fresh, never frozen. Their hand rolled taquitos and homemade salsa are my latest obsession! The prices are lowest than any other local or chain restaurant. They could charge more, but they don't! If you love chile rellenos, this place has the best, hands down! Crispy batter with chile on top....mmmm.

They offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They also cater, just ask for the menu. Again, rock bottom prices. Its amazing! You'll see.

The dining area is very clean, well lit and overall simple. Not for a romantic date. I usually get take-out at the very last minute, before closing, and they have always happily accommodated me. Cash and card accepted. They offer gift certificates too!

Not sure how I had never been to El Mariachi before today, but I am glad I finally tried it. It's a small ma & pa restaurant with great food! The owners were super friendly too. Everything our group ordered was awesome and the dinner plates are very well priced. Most are $10 or less! I will definitely be returning soon.

Grabbing a bit before a movie can be a difficult choice with a specific time frame. I decided to try El Mariachi restaurant, and I made a good choice. The food was exceptional. I ordered the Indian Taco plate and was not disappointed. My girlfriend ordered the combination plate, and that was well prepared. The chile relleno was on point, light and crisp. Enchiladas were amazing, and yes, they serve Christmas. Highly recommend this for any occasion. Two thumbs up!

The food here was delicious. However. We tried to go on Tuesday and they were closed with nothing posted about being closed. Their food is good and affordable. Hopefully this closure isn’t a common problem.

I really wanted to like this place. The food was flavorless. The Indian Taco that received a 10 was not even a 5. Beans no taste, chile was not hot or tasteful, the taco dough was thick and tough. We walked in and were not greeted, some man in the back waved at us. The waiter was very nice.
