I've been going to Mario's for years and love it. After being away from ABQ for a few years back for a visit and it's just as good as ever!
We just showed up just before noon and had our choice of seats. Within minutes, the place filled up pretty well.
The food was excellent! I had the low carb plate and OMG! It was amazing! Huge meatballs, sausage and chicken breast topped with the sauce and plenty of cheese!
My wife and MIL, had the lunch special of half a sandwich and soup, the creamy green chilie soup was delicious, it tasted more like Green Chilie Enchiladas!
The salads were fresh and delicious as well.
I hadn't been to this Mario's in quite a while and we've all made the decision to make a trip or two back for more!
Seems service is always slow, waited 20 minutes for the server, meals cames with a salad or soup, but waitress never brought them to us. Seems they pay more attention to online/phone orders than they do in-person customers.
Love their pizza...the best!!
I only tried the pizza and I honestly didn’t like it at all don’t know if it’s the sauce or cheese but I hated the after taste.
Absolutely delicious, for all ages -- adults and kids. We just had dinner delivered to our home, and the food was cooked to perfection, the recipes were amazing, and this restaurant is now our top go-to when we want Italian food! When a picky toddler eats enthusiastically and for the first time insists that her leftovers be saved for later, AND similarly picky adults inhale their dinner, there can be no higher praise! The taste reminded me, an "old fogey," of how restaurant food USED to taste... the old deliciousness that has been lost in most places. If you want that sense of being lavished on with love through food... try this place!
Love this restaurant. From their pizza to pasta... very good.
Never had carbonara full of onions before, pizza was ok. Fried cheese was 5 star.
Very good pizza. Great crust and liberal toppings.
The pasta got me sick

Great pizza, I'm very picky when it comes to pizza and theirs is great. Fresh hot food, great prices, and large menu to chose from. From pizzas to subs, soups and salads and Italian cream sodas. Great friendly service.
We have only gone to the 4th street location a couple of times. 1st time was great service and food. Today we walked in and were told we had a 15 minute wait. 1:15 and 3 tables had patrons. 2 waiters. Guess we will go back to locations with better service!
We were is the large events room and I am appreciating that they have a large room to accommodate larger parties. My husband noticed the room was not as clean as you would want an events room to be. The air duct registers were pretty dirty and didn't instill an idea of cleanliness. The carpet was old and a bit dingy.
The food was tasty and the service was okay.
Yummy yummy food.
Yucky yucky attitude from the waitress.
Vents above your head are unscrewed and hanging open. Update the staff to smiles. Update the building.
We mostly order take out. My son loves their pizza. Food's usually good. I stopped ordering dishes with chicken such as the southwest chicken Alfredo. The chicken breast strips used in these recipes reminds me of cat food or tofu - not good. Salad serving spices for takeout are small. Soup of the day take out cup isn't a cup sized serving (about 6.5 oz - not sure if that's normal for a cup of soup). Prices have gone up over the last few years like everywhere else.
