Stopped in for lunch thinking it was a pizza only joint. Turns out to be a whole Italian restaurant. Got 2 slices of pizza and tried their bruschetta. Both were good. The pizza slices were nice and big and 2 is plenty to fill ya up. Waitress was nice and courteous. Restaurant atmosphere was ok. I’m glad I came in during a lull. Only downside I would critique is I wish they cooked my pizza slices 5mins longer. The crust was soft and flimsy to where I had to use a knife & fork to eat the pizza. Once I took a slice home and re-warmed it in the oven and for a bit crispier crust, it was perfect! Toppings were fresh and plentiful.

Was very disappointed with the pizza I ordered for delivery. Added 2 toppings pepperoni and mushrooms. Barely any mushrooms and pepperoni on the pizza. Will not order pizza from here again.

Today was my first time trying out Mario's. I'll have to visit again to really see if it's worth it.Spent over $30 and got the wrong dished served, and never got asked for refills. It wasn't busy at all...I HATE wasting food so I ate almost half of my dish and luckily my roommate liked it so he has something for lunch tomorrow. Just sucks to be expecting something and then get served something VERY different. It did taste good, just not what I wanted or expected. I know I could've said something but I really don't like wasting food, and it would've been tossed if I sent it back.We also got Bruschetta as an app, and it was very flavorful. Ordered the Berry dessert to go and that was honestly the redeeming quality.So all in all, food was good, but service was lacking unfortunately.

Updated 2/18/24:The review further below is from 5 years ago.Our pizza had the wrong topping and when I called to talk to them about it I was transferred to a very nice gentleman who graciously offered to make us a new pizza. I later found out it was Mario himself.Amazing. The delivery driver told me Mario even made the new pizza.Mario, and Mario’s REALLY care about their customers. The pizza is great and I would come back for that reason alone. Mario treated us with such kindness and respect, we’re customers for life.This is why I shop local.—————————-2018 review: Damn good pizza. I rate Mario’s 5 stars partly because when there’s any question or issue on an order, the manager (young guy, don’t know his name) works very hard to fix it and keep the customer satisfied, and he’s always so nice to my kids. You can tell he cares. He made us feel like family. Things like that keep us coming back. Plus the fantastic pizza.

Absolutely enjoy getting take out here and enjoying our meals at home the pizza is fire I definitely recommend the buffalo chicken pizza extra sauce it's out of this world and will be returning to get my hunny favorite the pesto chicken pasta.

I hadn't been to Mario's in several years and remembered pretty much everything on the menu being good. So of course when I go to visit last week and it's my turn to order, I can't decide what to pick. The staff was kind enough to show me a few of the popular menu items and I ended up going with the Southwest Chicken pasta.It was great and I probably wouldn't have picked this if I had to make up my own mind on the spot.Carry out was very quick from the time I ordered in person at the counter to when I walked out the doorPrice and portion size was very reasonable, considering the meal was dinner and lunch the next day. I have a decent appetite too. Will be back! Thank you! ?

For and app we got the garlic goodness of the sprouted garlic, overwhelmed the dishMy kids got fettuccine Alfredo the sauce was broken. I got the Goodfellow combination this stuff shells had an awful textureWhen we got home, all of us spent 45 minutes in the bathroom Should’ve left after I tasted the garlic knotsService was horrible. Our server came to the table 5 times before asking if I wanted a refill ask if we needed anything and be gone before he had a chance answer he never broke stride.This will be the last time we used to visit the uptown location to see what this location is

This is a good, family friendly place for Italian food. My opinion is that their food is good, but not excellent. I’ve been several times to almost all their locations and always receive good, friendly service. I’ll keep coming back.

Cooks are horrible and need to be re-trained. I've had issues twice now with their calzones because the quality is awful and food was still raw. Mainly due to their prep cooks laziness and, thinking it's okay to have mushroom slices a half an inch thick and serve raw food. Their pizza is one thing but, calzones have been awful. My experience with this location has been nothing but poor. Never ordering from this one again.

Our waitress was incredible. She checked on my daughter and I often and she let her sample gelato after a flavor she wanted was out. The chelate gelato , kids spaghetti, and lasagna were definitely home cooked comfort food for me. I’m we also loved the strawberry Italian soda , so yummy ? I prefer sitting in private but I didn’t mind being in the center of the restaurant when it was moderate bush ? This was my second time visiting, plenty more to come.
