Jackpot!! Attracted by the reviews, I couldn't resist. Wife, daughter & I decided to check out Mariscos Altimar while in Albuquerque. Immediate impression walking in the door - clean and warm. Check this out - we were welcomed by 4 different staff members prior to being seated. Where does that happen? With that as a precurser, as you may imagine, the table service was remarkable. We had beef fajitas, beef chimichangas, and tres leches for dessert. As good as it gets... everything, all the way down to chips, salsa, tortillas, beans, rice, and vegetables. Perfectly prepared, very flavorful, and generously portioned. Beef was super-tender and the underlying spices really came through. All the menu selections were very reasonable priced. BONUS - it was a Friday night, and there was tableside entertainment, courtesy of a gentleman performing classic Spanish selections. Loved it. Check this - there was a fellow (not pushy) passing through the dining area with long-stem red roses, which could be procured for the special lady, or ladies at your table. So rare, this touch truly reminded me of other countries. Very classy. It's a solid recommendation - can't miss at Mariscos Altamar!!

Good food, too bad the service is horrible and full of rude employees. Got ignored by 3 different people waiting 10 min in drive thru just to go inside and get help from a rude employee. My family loves to order take out here but sadly won’t return after this.
