The best Carne Adovada in town. The red chilie is to die for. The prices are very Reasonable. Open Monday thru Thursday 11 to 3 pm Friday and Saturday 11 to 5 pm. They are closed the first Monday of the month.

Authentic New Mexican comfort food at its best. The red chile sings, the carne adovada melts, and the service is warm and genuine.

don't usually review places, but this place has some of the best rice and beans ive ever had. I normally don't eat rice and beans much when i get it, but i cleaned my plate here. This is really good food.

Unsure why there are high ratings. It's obvious this place hasn't put any $ back into their business to improve it. The building is falling apart. The red & green chile is delicious but the rest of the food is mediocre. Salsa is very sweet almost like a spicy marinara. Some batter is sweet. Just low grade food. Most staff is very friendly. The place really needs a remodel & higher grade recipes. This place may have seen its better days hence the nostalgic other reviews...

A hole in a wall that gives you authentic homemade Mexican food. We had a bowl of green chili, chimichangas, a large combination plate 1. Every was flavorful. The homemade salsa had a slight hint of spice that makes it delicious. Parking was limited in their lot but street parking is available. No alcohol on site. (We were craving margaritas) nonetheless we left very full and happy.

Im not from Albuquerque, But this is probably the absolute best New Mexican food I have ever had. When we visit family here, this is the place we come. Even the coffee tastes better here than any place. The people who work here are absolutely amazing and feels like the home i grew up in.

This place is iconic and 1000% honest New Mexico style cuisine. It is like the food that is shared on Sunday afternoon with chisme, cafe and cariño. Grandma singing in the kitchen and waitresses happy 😊 to be there serving newly arrived family. The enchiladas red and green were marvelous and bien sabrosas. My waitress’ Elizabeth and Tania were excellent and polite.
Note: I went earlier to another famous but bland known restaurant; this restaurant is truly good and tasty.
