The food at Mata G is well seasoned and decent quality- especially for pre - prepared and sitting in a cold case. However- my issue is with the prices. I came in and got 1 container of tofu salad , pita bread ( 3 pcs) and I cookie - at a cost of 17.81- I gave a 20.00 dollar bill - To which the girl behind the counter asked do you want your change?… it’s worse when you use a card - and they give you the iPad that suggests even higher tip percentages. I recently ordered the Moroccan vegan bowl, and I must say, the taste is absolutely delightful. It offers a wonderful array of flavors and a diverse selection of vegetables. Thank you very much, and may God bless you all.
I have not been to their location, but I'm so thankful for Mata G's stations at local grocers! Although they're on the costly side, I can rely on having a healthy, hearty vegetable-based meal when I don't have time to prepare myself. The Punjabi Chickpea Burrito is my favorite!
