This is a terrific little Mediterranean Cafe in the University of New Mexico area. I had a wonderful Greek salad and a glass of Prosecco, believe it or not. The waiters are friendly and have been there a while. The place offers a wide variety of Mediterranean dishes and a limited beer and wine menu The parking can be difficult. Mazaya Café is a true hidden gem! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming and beautifully decorated — cozy, clean, and full of charm.
The food? Absolutely outstanding. Every bite was packed with rich, authentic flavor. The garlic sauce and hummus was creamy and fresh, the grilled meats were tender and perfectly seasoned, and the fresh pita was the best I’ve ever had....

We were overjoyed to find this gem after 5 days of camping. The owner and his staff were extremely welcoming- and the food was SO fresh!
