While the drive-thru at this location is still typical by McDonald's standards (that is, not more mistakes on your order than the average McDonald's makes), their indoor dining experience has deteriorated from being one of the most family-friendly fast food dining experiences in the city to possibly the least inviting of any McDonald's. There used to be a Play Place (and a very nice one at that), a soda fountain, and readily available ketchup, straws, and napkins. Now, they have removed the Play Place, along with the soda fountain, and worse yet: you can't even request refills of your soda over the counter. In other words, dining in has now become less comfortable or accommodating than simply eating drive-thru food in your car.
I used to think my chick was Karening out but after a while, yeah, check your bag before you leave from here. Maybe it's cause they're busy, I don't know. And when you show them that what's missing is actually missing, they get mad like it's your fault. Slow is smooth, smooth is fast, guys.
Doesn't help they don't do anything about all the people camped out by the drive-thru asking for money. Honestly if you're in the SR Marmon or Ladera West areas, just go to the new one on Unser and Ladera, they don't mess up nearly as often and don't let bums just camp there staring at you while you order.

Whats the point of 2 intercoms if I’m gonna be sitting there waiting for the person beside me to take an order . Thought McDonald’s was fast food . Not good service making customers sit there wasting gas for 10 mins or more before I can even make my order . This happens all the time and hopefully a review can make the customer service better .

Not a great experience, one of those service-free locations, order from kiosk, no fountain/no refills, bathroom is locked. Somehow they were out of Coke, which is practically the default soda at a McDonald's, so I don't think the manager in charge of inventory is doing a great job either.
McDonald's is a sad place these days.
