Best restaurant in Albuquerque, I come here regularly for special occasions and the food and service is excellent every time. Great vegetarian options, creative dishes, excellent cocktails, great desserts.

I recently attempted to dine at Mesa provision with a group of five, and I was disappointed by their inability to accommodate us. Despite arriving during what seemed to be a less busy time, the staff informed us that they could not seat our party. It was frustrating, especially since we had hoped to enjoy a meal together. I understand that restaurants can be busy, but turning away a group of five felt unwelcoming. I would suggest potential diners check in advance if they plan to visit with a larger party, as our experience showed that this restaurant may not be suitable for larger gatherings.

Mesa provisions is fantastic. Beautiful setting and the food was unbelievably good. Pictures don't do it justice. We shared brussel sprouts which were very good. My date had a penny lane drink which was very flavorful. I had waygu beef and she had the half chicken. Everything was perfectly prepared. Highly recommended. Not cheap but great for a special occasion. Although it is very fancy food, the staff was very friendly. Our server was Mikki (spelling?) And he was very helpful. Fancy places cam sometimes be snobby but that wasn't at all the case. The hostess was kind enough to take pictures of us too. Hope to be back soon

The roast chicken is absolutely outstanding. What's even more impressive is the service here—they have the most welcoming staff. I accidentally left my credit card behind, and they kindly mailed it to my address. Thank you so much. From now on, this is a must-visit spot whenever I'm in New Mexico.

I don't know where to begin with this review. This was all around exceptional experience. The food was amazing. I was curious of what a burger would taste like at a restaurant of its caliber, but it did not disappoint. The other dishes were amazing as well. Please look at the receipt to see what we ordered. The drinks were also exceptional. The restaurant was clean and inviting. The staff was extremely friendly, professional, and attentive. Keep in mind that the parking can be a little tricky and I would arrive a little early. I am already looking forward to my next dining experience at this fine restaurant. Also, reservations need to be made well in advance.

We celebrated a birthday for our first time at Mesa Provision's new location. We LOVED IT! Everything was perfect.
We ordered: - Puyu Persimmon Salad - Beautiful fresh salad that tasted as great as it looked - Cavatelli Pasta - Incredible flavors, pasta cooked perfectly, nice heat, kale (which we normally don't care for) cooked perfectly and a nice addition to the dish - Masa Pecan Cake paired with the Niepoort Ruby Port - both really good and a perfect pairing of flavors - Perdita Durango Cocktail - tequila, tamaya blue corn, pineapple and lime - great drink - Lil Smokey - Mezcal, Pasilla Mixe, Ginger, Honey, Lemon, Mesquite - awesome smokey flavors
Our server Dominic was the best! His recommendations, including ordering 'family style' was spot on.
Congratulations to the Mesa Provisions Team for a great new location, and thank you all for making our birthday celebration unforgettable.
We can hardly wait to return!

Amazing restaurant with rotating seasonal menu! Delicately crafted dishes with depths of flavors! A must try if you’re in the Albuquerque area! Staff is welcoming, friendly, and professional! Recommend the scallop crudo and steak frites!

Service was way above par for Albuquerque. Food was a bit over salted for my tastes and over cooked. Atmosphere a bit noisy and the grease smoke was over-whelming.
We were given the gift certificate to go and try Mesa provisions and so that was our reason for visiting. This was my first visit I will give them two more tries before I either decide to not go back or revise my review.
We had a memorable evening at this top restaurant, thanks in large part to our incredible waiter, Josh/John that lived in Philly a while ago, (I remember his face better than his name, apologies). His attention to detail, warm personality, and friendliness made the night feel special from the start.
The appetizers and salads were truly outstanding — creative, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. Each bite felt fresh and innovative, setting high expectations for the rest of the meal.
Unfortunately, the main dishes didn’t quite live up to that same standard. While the portions and presentation were great, everything was noticeably oversalted, which overshadowed the quality of the ingredients.
Even with that disappointment, the experience was overall very enjoyable, and Josh’s exceptional service made a big difference. We’d gladly return — just hoping next time the mains match the brilliance of the starters!

Last night was my third visit to Mesa Provisions but the first in their new space (formerly Zinc). It was amazing! I love how they have brightened up the space and all the artwork they have chosen. Service was great, but of course the food is the real star. Every dish we had (squash, a stuffed chile, biscuits, mushroom pasta) was delicious. I’ll highlight the mainstay smoked half-chicken, though - how can chicken possibly be so flavorful and tender? It’s a real WOW dish. I’ll be back soon!

I was weary that the change would effect the quality of service, or that the food would suffer with the larger and busier location... Im happy to report that nothing has changed!
