I have been getting breakfast at Mick's since they opened. Their breakfast burritos with sausage, and green chili are the best I have ever had. Our last visit in there, we had a problem with the wait staff who is one of the owners. We waited several minutes to place our food order. My brother felt the need to ask if we could place our order. He was trying to let her know he had to be somewhere by a certain time. The waitress informed my brother that it's not her problem. My brother told her she didn't have to be rude. The waitress did not take our order, took our menus and told us to have a nice day. I don't care if you are the owner, there was no reason good enough for you to speak to my brother as you did. You also scratched my son's arm with a pen when you grabbed the menus from us. And you upset my son. I will not do business with your restaurant again.

The green chile is flavorful and hot. I did not care much for the pancake but everything else on my plate was yummy to my tummy. The staff was very attentive and friendly. I couldn't help but notice that they knew the names of almost everyone coming through the door or calling to place a phone order. I will be back for the friendly service and excellent chile.
I decided to try a new local restaurant for breakfast today and had heard really good things about Mick's Chile Fix, and since I was looking for a good chile fix I decided to try it. This place is awesome. I ordered takeout but the diner was super quaint and comfortable, it looked like a fantastic place to have brunch and it smelled amazing! The little gift store they had on the side was super cute too. I ordered a regular sausage breakfast burrito smothered in red and the portions they gave me were absolutely massive. Definitely a 2-day breakfast. The red chile is really rich and flavorful, I'd say a medium heat with enough kick to make my nose run, and the meal was delicious. 12/10 would recommend to anyone looking to support a local Mom&Pop-style restaurant while getting Grade-A+ New Mexican food at the same time. Will have to try the rest of their menu.

Came into micks today to try a new place. The menu looks tasty as it has some great choices for you! Today I picked the Frito pie with red Chile and beef! I got the half serving which is huge! Lol . It tasted awesome ! Will definitely be coming back to try some more food ! Next on the list green Chile cheeseburger!

The food is delicious and they have large servings. I had enough food left over for two more meals. The wait staff are knowledgeable about the menu and made great suggestions for a sensitive eater. They also have vegetarian options. I'll definitely recommend this restaurant and I'll eat there again myself!

The Green Chile was absolutely delicious and authentic. Tortillas are on the thicker side but perfect for scooping up the eggs, Chile and hash browns together. I can’t wait to go back and try their posole!
