I try to support local when possible. I'd been wanting to try this place and finally did. It took over 30 minutes to get an Indian taco. 30 minutes. Then the Indian taco was made with a sopaipilla not fry bread - and it didn't come out fresh or made from scratch either, like they claim. The cashier came to ask how everything was and I answered honestly. She then became very aggressive and defensive and went and got the cook. He wasn't much better - they're very argumentative instead of apologetic. This isn't worth the $15 I paid, ordering at a counter (no table service) where you're expected to tip first. And, by noon it was already 92 degrees, and they weren't running the AC. I won't be back and I don't recommend it.

Service was very slow and the staff was defensive when we complained. Food was also subpar. Very disappointing. I've let all my downtown coworkers know to avoid this place.

We ate lunch here. I ordered the Green Chile Burger with sweet potato fries. It was really good although a bit messy, I ended up eating it with my fork. Highly recommend it and the Monte Christo, which my husband ordered. We had good service.

This place has the worst service. The General Manager was hostile, rude and completely off her rocker. The place was not even half full… and she couldn’t let a grandmother and young child wait at a table. That was bad enough, but she snapped our heads off about it. We left, and will never return. We used to stop here every trip.., was even going to look into coordinating an even for business, but because of Emily, we will never spend another minute there. The saddest part, she seemed proud of herself.

Excellent food, fast service. The waiter was very friendly. Our food came fast and was nice and hot. The Monti Cristo saw superb lots of ham and cheese fried to perfection without all the thick bread as most places. My husband got the green chili burger which was also amazing.

We will never go back to this restaurant. Seated in a timely manner. Took awhile to get water and ordered drinks. Three cocktails, one beer, black coffee. All drinks were ordered during happy hour. The alcoholic drinks and the coffee took forever to get to the table. The beer was the wrong beer and then it took awhile to get the right one. Two orders of the fish and chips were good. Two orders of the orange chicken were horrible. The description said crispy chicken in an orange sauce. The chicken was soggy and tasted nothing like orange chicken. The citrus chicken salad looked like it was a bagged salad, a few fruit pieces, a few pistachios, less than a teaspoon of cheese on the whole salad. It was not a $16 salad! Panera has much better salads for way less money. When the bill came, we were charged for two beers (only ordered one). Of the three cocktails, only two were charged the happy hour rate and the other one was regular price. After we paid our bill we walked out the door never to return.

We have lunch at the Elephant Bar when we go down from Santa Fe to shop in Albuquerque, and did so recently. As always, the food was very good and the portions were large. In particular, however, we wanted to compliment Valerie, our server. She was one of the most professional, personable and thoughtful servers we have ever encountered. So kudos to her!

Terrific menu and great service. Nice location, as well. Higher end prices, but generous portions. The restaurant is in Albuquerque Uptown, so lots of shops and other eateries around.

We went to ABQ Uptown to shop, and decided to have lunch at Elephant Bar. While the service was good, our meal was awful. I had the Thai Chicken salad, and it literally tasted like some greasy chicken dumped on some iceberg lettuce. My husband had the Pad Thai with tofu, and it was rubbery and inedible. So disappointing, and not a place we will be going back to.

We (3 girlfriends) went here 2x in our 4 night trip to ALBQ. It was that friendly, great drinks and food! The restaurant nor bar were busy. If we were locals, we'd be there frequently! Toni & Nancy started us off on our first day in NM with great food of the Adventure Platter and Double Espresso Martini's, Tres Agave Margarita's and Cabernat. We finished with a Raspberry Lemon Drop shared.....The ladies were so friendly and gave us some insight on how to manuever the traffic for the Balloon Fiesta! We were staying directly across the street at the Hyatt Uptown. We came back here two nights later and again had a great dinner served by LeAndra, Toni & Aiden. We had the Sweet Fire Burger, Seared Ahi App and some cocktails! We sat outside before leaving as well. Very nice atmosphere, great staff that work as a team! Manager was very nice as well! Wish we had one of your restaurants here in FL

We went there on a Wednesday evening, love the decor but that was about it, service was very slow, and they were not busy, took 50 mins to get our appetizer and that did taste good, then when the dinner came more dissappointment as my baked potato was hard, not hardly cooked at all, and steak was not cooked as I wanted. Server did take 20% off and stated they only had 2 cooks that night. Hope they can do better in the future but sadly I will not go back anytime soon.

This place is large and since we went early (5:30p) not crowded. We both had apps and the service was friendly and quick. Plus it was a minute from the Hyatt Place.

While the food was beautiful and tasty, we waited awhile for our order to be taken and it took about 30 minutes for the food to arrive, though we did have 12 people in our party. The decor is beautiful and the service was friendly.

We celebrated our 34th wedding anniversary by going to eat dinner at The Elephant Bar in Albuquerque, NM. We did this since that us where we went to dinner on our first date. Our first date was in Lubbock,TX - since that location closed many years ago, we found out that NM had one. Since we were traveling and found this out, we went. It was definitely not the same good food or good service we had on our first date. The waiter lacked in customer service and for the price, the food wasn’t the best. We at least have our great memories from the one location in Lubbock.
