The foods was good, the waitress was horrible and rude. Ordered two meals, both $12.95, two sides of chile at $2 a piece and one coffee, $2.49. Waitress was extremely mad and rude when we questioned why our bill was almost $49. She took the bill brought it back “adjusted” to $38 which was still more than it should have been. Then when questioned by the girl running our payment how everything was and we said that we didn’t understand the bill our waitress said loudly to the other waitress “ they are still complaining about their bill”. Will never go back. Watch your bill when you go there.

Questioned me about the amount of tip. Charged 2.00 for a little container of Chile. Sopapillas tasted like fried in old oil. Will not go there

They have very good breakfasts here, highly recommended.
Hubby, his uncle, and I came here for lunch. We were seated right away and attended too. I ordered the carne adovada and replaced beans with rice, and sopapilla, and hubby ordered 2 eggs, bacon, and sausage place which comes with papitas (potatoes) and smothered with both red and green chile (they call Christmas because of the colors). They also serve chips on the house as you are waiting for your food to be served.Food: Full of flavor, cooked right, and served hot (not dangerously hot). Even the chips were warm and tasted like it’s just made. The sopapilla is so light and yummy.Ambiance: The restaurant has outdoor dining but with the cold weather, better sit inside as it is clean and cozy. Just the perfect warm comfortable temperature.Service: Our server was attentive and friendly and warm. The entire experience was pleasant and I definitely recommend this place 100%.Parking: Ample parking infront of the restaurant’s entrance.Kid-friendliness: The place is family friendly and kids can easily sit comfortably with parents.

First time trying Monica's and it was a hit! We had brunch and ate breakfast plates. We tried the breakfast burrito, huevos rancheros, and the fried steak, all wonderful. Plates come out super fast, great service even when it's busy. Chile was delish, red, green, and their green chile gravy! We will definitely be back for lunch menu!
