Just wanted to give a big thank you to Monroe’s on 4th Street. We went in a little nervous about food allergies, but the staff completely put us at ease. They were so kind and careful. The manager even went out of his way to call the head chef at another location just to double-check everything for us.
They gave us a list of safe options and took every precaution to avoid cross-contamination. It meant so much to see my daughter enjoy her lunch without worry. Truly grateful for how thoughtful and accommodating everyone was.
Highly recommend if you’re navigating food allergies. They really care.

This is a historic local restaurant. Food is seasoned well and served in good portions. They also have special menus for vegans and people with allergies to ingredients such as gluten. At the front desk, they sell house made sauces.

We came as a group of 20 to celebrate a UNM graduate. I was very impressed with the staff. But even more impressed by our awesome server Aiden. Definitely recommend this guy, especially for large parties. You guys killed it. Thank you. 🙏

The quality of the food, pricing, and service was commendable. However, I observed some areas for great improvement. The top of the ceiling beams and exterior air ducts were quite dusty, with some cobwebs present. Additionally, the many broken window blinds detracted from the overall ambiance.
As for service, my dining companion and I experienced an unusually long wait for our food, despite noticing most other tables, who ordered after us, received their meals much sooner. Furthermore, our server was chewing gum during our visit, which was extremely unprofessional.
