Sea bass special came out overdone. Know it is safer, but this was more well done than needed. Lost some of the flavor. Replaced quickly with better serving. Sides and drinks were great as always.
This is a must visit every time we come to Albuquerque! Food is good, service excellent with a good, relaxed vibe.
We visited on a Monday evening to celebrate our anniversary. The overall experience felt a little rushed even though they weren't very busy. We noticed our waitress spending more time and offering better service to other tables which made our evening a little awkward. Food was good and comparable to prior visits. The tiramisu was the star of the evening. In a nutshell, we've had better experiences at their other locations and would be more likely to return to their locations in Nob Hill or Rio Rancho.
I received a cold pizza, exchanged it for a Caesar salad that was served in a way I am unaccustomed to and did not enjoy the presentation or the flavor. The portion size for the $7 up charge (that is not a typo) was both outrageous and a surprise as the specials card handed to us at seating indicated “All Whole Salads $12.” No mention by the card or server that protein was not included in the special that we spoke about as I ordered as my second choice. I would like to take a moment to recognize the incredible service we received from our waiter, and the professional way in which the manager on duty handled our situation. Neither of these things were their fault yet they went out of their way to ensure that when we left, we were still happy. And I am. I will be back.
Excellent service, they truly acted as a team. Got the Prix Fixe special, 3 courses with matching wines, each course was excellent and the wine pairing was clearly well thought out, each wine added something to the course. Definitely recommend.
We had the saffron mussels, meatballs and special mushroom ravioli. All were delicious and we have leftovers. We also ordered a bottle of wine - (half price on Tuesdays). The service was outstanding and overall great value. Love this place!
I have been a customer of M'Tucci's Italian since it opened, and I generally have a wonderful meal. This time, I was somewhat disappointed. First, the calamari was not cooked well. it was not crispy, and the batter came off easily because it was not done. Second, my mom ordered the porterhouse special. While the steak was cooked perfectly and as ordered , it was a T-bone. Please don't misrepresent what you're serving. I hate to see a good place miss the mark.
We enjoy coming here. The food is good. The staff are remarkable. The only reason for a lower than usual mark was that there was a very loud group with who frequently used foul language and I saw no one speak to them about it
I have been eating here at the Original location since is opened over 13 years ago and I have never had a bad meal here. They are consistently delicious and this visit was no different. Once again, we invited friends who had not ever experienced the overall impact of dining at M'Tucci's. They will return and of course we will. Just love M'Tucci's!!!
Excellent food and staff!! We had a great time and our appetizers to our entrees were perfection. Gelatos were so good!!! The chocolate cake was perfect. We celebrated my daughters birthday and she got a sparkler in her gelato. Thanks again for a great experience!

We went after watching a movie at FlixBrew. Sested quickly. Our drinks came quickly and as ordered. Our food orders were the special Green chile brats, the pesto ravioli and the salmon. All were delicious. Our waitress was pleasant and on her toes. We love M'tucci's Italian.
Awesome service and great meal. Adding more random words to comply with OT review rules. :(
Poor service for Sunday brunch. Shay was an inattentive server. There were four of us seated. We were waiting on the fifth. Shay quickly buzzed by and said I'll be back when the other party arrives. No offer of beverages or cocktails. When the fifth person arrived, she wanted us to place both our wine and food order at the same time. No. We indicated we would like our wine first. Took nearly 15 minutes before the wine was served. The restaurant was not super busy. We then had to get her attention to place the food order as she never came back to check with us. Food was delivered promptly and was overall excellent except for the caprese salad. The tomatoes were under ripe and two were left on the plate as they were too hard to cut, let alone eat. Disappointing for this restaurant. Shay never came back to check with us regarding the food. We had to call her over twice for water refills. We had to call her back AGAIN for second glasses of wine. Her poor service tarnished an otherwise pleasant outing with friends. Will return but will request a server other than Shay. Will be cautious about the salad orders.
Service was very rushed and noise level was loud. The meal was acceptable except for the pasta which was overcooked and cold. On my last dining experience at M'tucci's Italian I had also complained to the restaurant manager that the pasta was overcooked. Apparently the cook at this “Italian” location does not know how to cook pasta. Since my experience at this restaurant with the pasta has been disappointing, the next time I go there, I will order the pasta al dente and hopefully it will be freshly made and cooked to order. The positive side is that my meal was comped as was dessert. Looking to a better experience in the future.
Service was great, food very good and she really enjoyed the no alcohol drinks- very nice date night place-
