Tried the felafel sandwich. By far the best I ever had acress many States. The amount is fulfilling. Being from Kuwait-the food capital of the world- I can say, their flafel are truly authentic.

This is a real gem for authentic delicious Mediterranean food! Gotta love the smell of fresh baked pita. Had some falafel, hummus, salads and fresh hot pita. Owner was super nice and welcoming. Keep up the good work.Folks, go out and support our local businesses.

Reminded me how much our cultures unify through taste buds.

The main man there is always extremely nice and the food is delicious! Tried the hummus for the first time today, but I've had the Gyro Sandwich lots of times and it never disappoints! Definitely my favorite stop for Pita and Mediterranean!

I tried this place yesterday. I wish I had gotten the name of the man working there, he was very nice and open to any questions I had. I ordered a falafel sandwich which was a good amount of food for the price, and the fries were delicious! I also got a fountain drink for a dollar. Overall there was a lot of flavor and felt very authentic. I've had such a hard time finding authentic middle eastern food since I moved states. I will definitely be going here again.

My wife and I were in town for a four-day weekend and wanted to try something different. We shared the gyro platter and a side of hummus. It was awesome! Try the house lemonade. It has an herbal flavor and is really delicious. The owner was by himself because his staff ha called in sick, but he took really good care of us. We will definitely be back next time we come to ALQ!

The food is delicious and fresh at Need A Pita! We had the beef shawarma and falafel platters which come with rice, house salad, and hummus. The salad has great dressing and the hummus is so good! Also had the pita bread, which is freshly baked and soft. Definitely try out this place if you’re craving flavorful Middle Eastern and Mediterranean food!

Lovely food, gracious owner and staff! The interior is no frills but clean and bright, and we enjoyed the classic Middle Eastern music playing in the background. My mom the Hummus Snob loved the hummus and the baba ganoush was nice and smoky. The pufftastic pita bread is like clouds that descended from the heavens and settled on our table! A meal in itself! I had the tabbouleh which was perfectly dressed and dominated by parsley, as it should be - I couldn't shovel it in fast enough! I also had the mint tea, which is made with fresh mint. Prices are spot on. The food is not served on plates, but rather in to-go containers, which turned out to be convenient, as we had leftover hummus and baba ganoush. Next time we will definitely order the lentil soup, which looked amazing.

It was delicious! My husband got the falafel platter and I got the hyro stuffed pita sandwich. Both were excellent and we are definitely coming back!!! Also the owner is in need of staff so please come apply! He was so kind and you can tell that he puts love into his food. Can't wait for my next lunch here!!!

Food was superb, and lots of it. We ate inside, which has a half dozen tables and is not fancy, and will definitely order again. They have delivery and takeout. The owner is the terrific chef.

To raise the overall experience of Post pandemic dining takes a whole community! I noticed various self-centered thoughts bubbling up inside of me after I placed the takeout order and waited for the food. "Why is it taking so long? I only ordered items that were pre-baked or made." Then came the moment of being reminded- seek first to understand! The chef was the only person working, he didn't skip presentation while I had no idea that each baked pie was decorated with sumac and individually placed in a to-go container with a dip. He was there at 4am to bake the delicious pies that I had never tried till today. The hummus looks as beautiful as it tasted even though in a plastic container. This was takeout food for the soul kind of experience for me! With two staff called in sick today, The chef was doing everything himself but still smiled genuinely and generously took care of packing the order. There were a table of five dining in and three pickup orders after mine. I solemnly admonished my easily self-centered mind to be kind, be patient, be generous and be understanding when I am participating in the overall dining experience of the community I call home.

You guys. I just got this delivered and it damn near brought me to tears. This is the best meal I've had in a LONG time. The hummus is silk, its amazing. The lentil soup warmed a part of my soul I didn't know existed. The pita, I'd like to climb inside it and take a warm nap. The mint rose tea, can I put it into my veins? And the baklava.... I think that's what home tastes like. My life is much improved by eating this food.

This place is still by far my favorite Greek food. He makes all the bread by hand and the food here is amazing and very friendly people. Will be coming back

Try it, you will fall in love with it like my wife and I did!
