Funky atmosphere as there are very disjointed sections and rooms but don't let that dampen your view, the place is awesome!
Service was great as our server was incredibly kind and pleasent to work. Along side the fantastic food, this is a must try.
Catfish and okra was light, crisp, and perfectly executed. Nachos/burnt ends were intense, but worth conquering.

We ordered the fish sandwiches, no veggies no tarter sauce and it was $60 for 3 sandwiches. Food was good just expecting more.

Our first time here and we had such a great experience! Everything we tried was delicious. The drinks were just as amazing as the food, and our waiter was incredibly attentive and friendly which made the whole experience even better. We’ll definitely be coming back.

Served food in health code violation, all of it was cold the gumbo, the bbq sampler, everything. If I spend $90 at a restaurant I expect the food to be properly prepared. We sat down at about 6:45 on Friday put an appetizer order in were told they be right back we didn't see them until 7:20, multiple staff members commented on whose table is that but no one corrected the situation. Once we got our sampler order all of it was cold, it's seemed as if the kitchen staff turned off the burners hoping to go home but it's also likely that the waiter forgot what he was doing since we still only saw him every 20 minutes. You should close at 7 if your staff is going to stand around tougher at 630 complaining that they want to go home. This is one of the worst dining experiences of my life and I don't suggest to anyone go here. The sauce was pretty spot on. This place reminded me of one of those places on bar rescue where the manager and everyone else need to be walked to the door and rehire. For reference we own and operate a non-competing restaurant in a different city.

I was hoping for better and what we got was okay. Will probably come back again for the pork ribs as they were pretty good but everything else was just okay as well. Main reason we came here is Google said that they had beef ribs. If you look at their menu, not the photos of the menus but the actual menu they put together themselves, it says beef ribs if you go back through some of the photos of their menus there are mentions of beef ribs. Are waiter was a bit annoying and made sure that he explained to us that not only do they not have beef ribs they have never had beef ribs since they've opened. We got the sampler of which everything was decent. The stars on it were the chicken and the pork ribs along with the sausage. The pulled pork, which I'm pretty sure is done by Machine as it was all kind of mashed together was pretty okay as well. The brisket and burnt ends were not very good, probably the lowest things on the plate, the fried pickles were good and the coleslaw was just okay. I'm not a fan of fried okra but we got it anyways and there's was actually pretty tasty. My wife does like fried okra and ate most of it up. The two barbecue sauces they have are okay but one is overly sweet.

Both Nexus locations have great Southern food, take it from a southern boy, but this location just happens to have probably, if not most definitely, the best bbq in town. Not to mention some really good brews and great service.

This is where all the Coo kids come to eat.
Everyone was vibing and nobody seemed uncomfortable dancing to the talented band, eating or whatever. Our waiter held down the service more then steller and we we're absolutely impressed. The Manager was one off the nicest lady's I have met and treated us with the upmost respect. Don't forget to try the membership as i got istantly more then the small one time fee i paid for it with love!!. Last but not least the food was magical and put me in a happy trance, dont forget to try the burnt beef ends with Mac & slaw. Mmmm! Catch you all again soon enough!

Went there on a Saturday evening with four adults and two kids. We were seated right away as well as the waitress was very attentive to what we may want and kept coming back making sure everything was all set and we didn't need extra drinks or anything. It seemed like everybody at the table ordered something different, so people were tasting each others meal and everybody was happy with the meals. The coleslaw was excellent as well as the mac and cheese as side dishes. My chopped brisket was a little dry but had great flavor

First time in and left very disappointed. All of our meat was dry the ribs, burnt ends I couldn’t even chew was rock solid not soft and melt in your mouth, 3 small pieces of brisket, very dry pulled pork, also very dry chicken and flavorless which we tasted and just let them throw away and cold sausage. The potato salad was like from a grocery store, no flavor whatsoever in the Mac and cheese and was also dry. The fried pickles and the bbq beans were ok. We went in about 6:45 pm so maybe that’s why? The fried zucchini appetizer was good, we got the sampler which was a 1/4 pound of each meat and two chicken quarters. Also 1 piece of fish was also not very good, thin and mostly batter. Upsetting a waste of $98 before tip, wouldn’t mind the price of the food was delicious

the server was great! the ribs were dry, we ordered ribs not fryed, the came fried! it also was the last rack so we had to share, but we did not even eat it then we tried the burnt ends really dry no good. we have never been here maybe it was a off night. we got up and left paid for our drinks. went to another place uo the road

This place is amazing… from the staff, to the food, to the atmosphere! All the staff were so welcoming… Adina, the GM found out it was our first time in and came to our table and spoke with us for a while and gave us a few Nexus Smokehouse stickers, she is great. Then the food came… insanely good food, with a great price! Our waiter Cody was great, except that he told us about the Peach Cheesecake with Scotch sauce… I will never forgive him for that… it was SOOOO good and I will probably end here may times eating it… thanks for that!! 😃 This place has definitely hit the top of our list!!!
