Disappointing Experience at Rhythm Room - Bartender Favoritism and Poor Management
I recently visited the Rhythm Room in Albuquerque, and unfortunately, my experience was ruined by the bartender's unprofessional behavior and the management's lack of concern. The bartender seemed to be favoring female customers, flirting with them while consistently skipping over male customers, including myself.
When I tried to get the bartender's attention to order, I was repeatedly ignored. Meanwhile, the female customers around me were receiving prompt service and attention. The bartender's behavior was not only unprofessional but also created an uncomfortable atmosphere for everyone involved.
What was even more disappointing was when I brought this issue to the manager's attention. Instead of addressing the problem or apologizing for the inconvenience, the manager seemed dismissive and uninterested in resolving the situation. It was clear that they were not concerned about the bartender's behavior and were more focused on maintaining the status quo.
Given the poor service and lack of accountability from the management, I would not recommend visiting the Rhythm Room to anyone. The venue's failure to provide equal service to all customers and its lack of concern for customer satisfaction are major red flags.
If you're looking for a welcoming and respectful environment, you might want to consider alternative venues in Albuquerque. The Rhythm Room's poor management and bartender behavior make it a place to avoid.

Me a d a group of friends went to this place when it was downtown and now recently at its new location in nobhill but unfortunately it has the same problems with the male bartenders ignoringv who was in line first to buy drinks and them picking and choosing who they serve next. If your a male who has been waiting in line for a long time to purchase drinks and the bartender sees a pretty female walk up they will pass you up so he can flirt with and serve the female first.also if the bartender sees one of his friends uou will get passed up. When you call out the bartenders on this biasness attitude they get a real bad attitude and very aggressive. What makes matters worse when you bring this up to the owner,carol which me and other people have at both locations he doesnt do anything to address the issue not even a simple talking to his employees instead he will wait till his employees escalate the situation and then when a paying customer sticks up for himself carol will kick them out. The service is VERY POOR and RUDE and the so called management is nonexistent and unhelpful

Went to check out this place during summer fest. Customer service was horrible! The male bartender was showing favoritism to females who he was flirting with and would skip Men. This same bartender was fighting with customers. When we first walked into this place we got bad vibes. There seemed to be lots of gang members there. Once the bartender started fighting with the customers we left and won't return!

Multiple people pointed out the bartender's behavior to him, stating that I was waiting to be served. However, the issue persisted. This lack of attention and disrespect made for a frustrating evening.
Given the club's clientele and atmosphere, I expect better service. The bartender's behavior was unacceptable and detracted from what could have been an enjoyable experience. Until the service improves, I wouldn't recommend.

This place is WOW! We went recently for summerfest & were starving. They did some revamping of the space and it is so beautiful. We ordered a few bites to just try something different & new. Nachos, Latin Okra & Elote Ribs. It is hard to choose my favorite. The vibe at Ivy is super laid back, luxurious & not too dark. The music was not super loud, the staff was slammed but attentive and kind. Definitely want to come back!

Best accidentally found place. Worth 5 stars. If I could give 10 I would. Food is great, clean place, service is amazing. Awsome environment. Our waiters LAUREN and GABRIEL were the best, very sweet, friendly and kind. Will definitely come again and will definitely be bringing some friends.

Tread carefully here, do not go in having high expectations as we did. It is a great location, with lots of space inside, beautiful decor, and ambiance. Unfortunately, we did not have a great experience to meet what it looks like and the other reviews that we read before going. I made a large party reservation for 12 people one day in advance for a Sunday at 11 am when they opened. As we arrived, the door was propped open and we were not greeted upon entry. We had to interact with the servers at the bar prepping. We mentioned our reservation and they said they were running behind and our table was not ready. Once the table was ready, they took us to the indoor patio area, and the ROUND tables were pushed into the corner area with all the sun as we had to ask to be placed away from the sun. Following being relocated, we waited 10 minutes for water and they did not come back to us until our whole table arrived to even get other drink orders. The coffee they served us was black tea... They had to brew a fresh pot 5 minutes later. After placing our food order, we waited ONE HOUR for our food, keep in mind there were about 3-5 other small tables in the whole place that arrived after us. Nobody came to check if we wanted appetizers or apologized for the wait. Although the staff was friendly, they were not at all attentive. Once the food arrived, 3 plates were cold, one had hair in the scrambled egg and two waited an additional 10 minutes to come out. On top of all of this, the menu items do not meet the quality of the food. It is just a hotel continental breakfast, frozen, basic, and should not be priced as they have. They proceeded to give us free dessert for the inconvenience which just ended up being freezer burn ice cream. Our entire stay of THREE HOURS was the worst experience I have ever come across. If I would go again I would probably sit at the bar to drink to ensure rapid, attentive service and not eat.

came in on a sunday afternoon at 12, there was about 3 people total in the building and it took 20 minutes to get two drinks… that were made very mid…. it was very messy from the night before so we were told. pretty bad service and overall not a very good first impression. probably will not be back.
