Visited in for a late lunch and had an amazing Frito pie at this cozy spot in Old Town. The hand-mixed prickly pear soda was recommended to me and did not disappoint!

I thought the steak fajitas were decent. The flavors of the sauces were mild, but I think that's just New Mexico in general. It was nice and warm inside the day before snowfall. The entire space is much larger than expected. It's a good spot to dine in while checking out old town.

Discovered this little jewel. We discovered a great table near the fire. It was raining and cold. Which was perfect. This place has an incredible fun atmosphere and vibe. The staff is amazing , friendly and helpful. We had a wide variety of food. We had John Wayne sandwiches, Frito bowls, burritos. The food was good, just lacked flavor/ spice. Chips and Salsa were amazing. Good food, great atmosphere.

We were the only ones in the restaurant at noon on a Thursday. Ordered the grilled cheese, chicken salad and John Wayne. Grilled cheese was bland, chicken salad on croissant was excellent and John Wayne was good (my son said he didn’t like the bread but ate the entire thing). They didn’t ask what type of side and just served Lays classic clips in a bag. Atmosphere was fun.

Walked in 12:25 on a Thursday place half empty. Ordered a sandwich to go. 25 minutes later...still waiting. Eat here if you have nothing else to do and want to waste a huge part of your day.

Sandwiches were great (BLT, turkey and tortilla soup plus dole whip), service was quick and friendly and a nice atmosphere.
This place was so unprepared for serving food. It took over 2 hours to get our food in a half empty restaurant. We had already paid for the food and had little other options, so we reluctantly stayed. The service was ridiculously slow without any apologies. Find another place to eat. If I could give it zero stars I would.

My wife and I ordered a John Wayne and a Roy Roger. Waited OVER an hour and ended up having to get it in a to go box to catch a tour bus heading for Durango Colorado. Very lousy service and the John Wayne was ordered with Marble Rye bread and they gave me the sour dough instead. I know that shouldn’t be a big deal but waiting over an HOUR and having to pay up front for a cold sandwich with a bag of chips is totally uncalled for. VERY poor food quality and what service? Put a McDonalds in, at least that would be a step above.

Horrible 85 minute wait. Bathrooms 1 broke and other no door lock. Food bland for NM and tiny bit of chicken in the burrito. Taco Bell is better. Ruined our day. If u can’t handle ballon fest etc then limit seating or shut

Interesting that only this cafe and one behind the church on Church Street are open in spite of thousands of tourists there all the time - especially during Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta..... We had our orders taken, cafe was busy but not crowded.... It took 1 hour 20 Minutes to get our hot dog and BLT ... We were not told this ... naturally were waited almost an hour chatting with friends and then started asking about the food... we were told on two occasions that our food would be right out.. it was now being done .. but the delay continued ... feel sorry for the servers but this place is horribly slow and very expensive....

Food was mushy and bland. Service was even worse. The cashier has no social skills and the girls bringing the food out rolled their eyes any time someone said something. As a local, this is embarrassing that tourists are experiencing that kind of treatment:(2 plates of mushy “enchiladas” and 2 water bottles for 40$..
Loved - staff friendly and food yummy -
