Old school diner. Good food, good menu choices. Pies looked great but we didn't partake. Easy 40 fwy off and on.

Great 1950's diner experience!
The food is good and the shakes are awesome.

Friendly staff and great vibes. They have mini juke boxes at the tables so bring quarters!

This place has officially hit the skids. In my last two visits to The Owl, the burgers have been unrecognizable. I don't know why the new ownership has changed things that used to be unique and delicious. This has become just another restaurant. I have eaten at this restaurant for over 30 years and don't know if I'll be back.

One of the best green chile cheeseburgers in this city for as long as I can remember! The service is always great here and the cool diner atmosphere transports you back to the 50's. Give it a go, eh!

5 stars isn't enough so I'm putting 6! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟, Ms. Meg and Mr. Mitch were absolutely spectacular, and truly cemented this to be a memorable experience for both my lady and I during our adventure from traveling across multiple states. 100% positive attitude, swift service, and utmost insightful recommendations with the menù

Highly recommend! We stopped in after a long day in the car. Staff were all great! Server did a great job on food recommendations and customer service! Shout out to NOAH for the amazing milkshakes!!

We've been here several times over the years, and it is consistently good. The chile cheeseburder is one of my favorites, but any dish smothered with their green chile sauce is excellent, such as huevos rancheros. The homemade meatloaf with green chile (ask for it) is really delicious. The building is a local landmark and worth seeing. Every trip to Albuquerque includes a visit to the Owl Cafe.

The plain burger had zero seasoning on it, so bland!

I swear they must’ve thought I order a hotdog as this plain burger had only some mustard on one side of the bun, no mayo, or anything that would tell me they thought it was a burger vs a hotdog! 😕

They had packets of ketchup, but the ketchup couldn’t drown out the no seasoning taste to the burger or the mustard flavor that this bad burger had! 😖

I had the ham steak and eggs about 30 minutes ago. It was supposed to be a 6-oz ham I asked when I got it how much this thing weighed because it really looked like it was about 3 oz of meat with a sliver of a bone in the middle. The potatoes were in edible. I asked for more crispy and I got what looked like broken brown rice on a plate. I also brought three other guests and two of the guests found severe fault with their food as well. Waiters and waitresses were very busy. But the food was unacceptable. We told them.

Walked in an hour before close. We were told immediately that the kitchen was closed and no food was being served. My boyfriend and I just wanted shakes, and were turned down even for shakes! Don’t say you’re opened to 8 if you can’t serve us at 7pm!
