Highly recommend! We stopped in after a long day in the car. Staff were all great! Server did a great job on food recommendations and customer service! Shout out to NOAH for the amazing milkshakes!!
We've been here several times over the years, and it is consistently good. The chile cheeseburder is one of my favorites, but any dish smothered with their green chile sauce is excellent, such as huevos rancheros. The homemade meatloaf with green chile (ask for it) is really delicious. The building is a local landmark and worth seeing. Every trip to Albuquerque includes a visit to the Owl Cafe.
It is setup like an old school diner. And they do it right from burgers to chelate l chocolate malt shakes. It is not simple burgers but almost gourmet style with different types. And other great American dinner classics like meatloaf.
