Painted Lady Bed & Brew

I stayed in the Lizzie Suite with my dog, Janet, and we both loved. The pet deposit is super fair and the room exceeded all my expectations. Very clean and way bigger then the pictures let on. You get a full kitchen, amenities in the bathroom were top notch, bed was super comfortable, and the private outdoor space was extra lovely. The public space is also super cute and dog friendly. Check-in was a breeze and I love that I don't need a physical key to access anything. You're just down the street from Old Town so there's plenty to do in the area. Would highly recommend this gem of a hotel.

What a great little place to stay! The ambience is perfectly fitting. The beer is delicious. The room was lovely and the decor was wonderful. We will definitely recommend to any who enjoy historical sites and are not afraid of meandering spirits! A few more wines on the menu would be a good addition. Thank you Jesse. Had our wedding here at the Venue! What a fantastic and accommodating space, we are beyond lucky to have had so much help from the staff! All guests loved the venue and commented on what a unique space it was. The rooms were nice & spacious, the space was well decorated and designed, while honoring the historical nature of the property. Would highly recommend visiting, or having your event here!

can’t say enough good things about The Painted Lady Bed and Brew! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality. The historic charm of the house blends beautifully with the modern touches, making it both comfortable and unique. Our room was spotless, cozy, and full of character—clearly cared for with attention to detail.

The “bed and brew” concept is such a fun twist. The location is perfect, close to great restaurants and shops, but still quiet enough to feel like a retreat. What really sets The Painted Lady apart, though, is the people. The hosts go above and beyond to make sure you feel at home.

If you’re looking for a one-of-a-kind stay that combines history, comfort, and a little bit of local flavor, this is the spot. We’ll definitely be back!

Could not have had a better experience. Our room was above and beyond, that pictures did not do it justice! HUGE, private and had everything and then some. Extremely clean and comfortable. Jordan, our beertender was fantastic. Shared some amazing stories and magic during Hoppy Hour. Location was perfect for getting everywhere by Lyft. The best hotel to celebrate our anniversary. 5/5 My sister and I decided to take a day trip to see one of our favorite bands in Albuquerque,I live in Santa fe. I recently watched a episode of Ghost Adventures and this placed was listed. We both immediately wanted to spend the night and experience the paranormal.We both are fans of the paranormal and the occult and were excited to grab a chance to stay there. Jesse was extremely helpful and lovely to deal with. The rooms are beautiful and the grounds are welcoming. The happy hour was amazing and our bartender was excellent in suggesting brews and near by places. We both enjoyed our conversations with her. Now, for the good part our "Lottie" suite had everything you needed and it was beautiful. We got back around midnight from our show. We decided to shower and wind down and get to bed. As I was laying down in my bed, the bed moved twice and I just thought it was me,nope 2 more times followed. I decided to turn in and around 2:30 am I was awakened by the moving of the bed and two whispers calling out the name "Mallory." I sat up and try to listen, nothing more. At breakfast my sister and I were conversing about our night. She also heard whispers but could not make out what they were. She also said her room was very cold,she had to get up and put on the heat. It's July! We both would definitely stay here again! The best place in ABQ!

Staff greeted us right away. Crazy, but we slept great despite what everyone said.🤣👻😈 we decided to watch the ghost adventure episode that featured your bed & brew place AFTER we checked out. we had some great laughs here . Thank you!!

I can't speak for the rooms as I have not stayed here but we frequently visit the trolley where Kate is the best to take care of us...that's why we always come back!

Where do I even start?! This place is INCREDIBLE!!! From the rich history to the vibrant atmosphere, everything was just perfect! My spouse and I practically had the whole place to ourselves for five glorious days. Sure, there were a couple of other guests, but we rarely saw them—just a brief hello during our peaceful mornings by the fireplace with our coffee.

And get this: There’s an old trolley car on the property that hosts a daily hoppy hour and is open to both guests and the public! You have to swing by and say hi to Kate—what a gem! Jesse, the owner, is super friendly and always ready to help with any questions you might have during your stay.

All in all, our time here was fantastic! I can’t recommend this place enough for anyone looking for a laid-back yet fun spot to unwind, explore, or enjoy a beer (or two). I'll definitely be staying here again, the next time I’m in Albuquerque! Thanks again, Jesse!!! 🍻

A most excellent establishment! Very comfortable and the attention to deails in the room was outstanding. Owner and proprieter (Jessie) has bulit a beautiful accomodation that I would highly recommend.
