We have eaten at this restaurant for the last 15 years .We loved the gluten free option. At one visit their waiter took it among their self to tip a hundred dollars on our credit card.We still continued to go there. We went again recently, we are from out of town .We noticed some things on the menu had been removed. Our meal that night wasn't as good as usual. We recently came back last night hoping it was just a bad night our last visit. I had just gotten out of the hospital I was very ill in my pj's I had layed in a hospital 3 days so I looked horrible I was very upset because I had a scary diagnosis We asked if they could just sit us in one of their little side rooms they absolutely wouldn't hear of it.It was only 3 feet from the other tables. They said they didn't have enough staff if they sat me and my spouse there. We will never go back. They are not friendly and the food is no longer the quality it once was.

I was glutened here after ordering gluten free bread, and regular bread was placed in front of me with no communication. Even though I had a GF label and a red menu. Our waitress who took my order did NOT express that wheat bread is complimentary and what I received will NOT be the GF bread that I ordered. The bus boy or whomever did NOT say "this is wheat bread" when he placed the bread on our table about 3-4 minutes after I had ordered. For a restaurant that prides itself on being safe for gluten free individuals and takes many precautions to keep us safe, I stupidly assumed the bread placed in front of me was the bread that *I ordered*. Immediately after eating a small piece I knew it tasted too fluffy to be GF bread. And 5 minutes later my body knew too.I've been sick ever since. This was irresponsible and disappointing behavior on everyone involved. I have been looking forward to eating here since moving back to ABQ and sadly I will not be coming back or recommending Paisano's to anyone I know.Dietary restrictions: I DO NOT recommend to people who have celiac or are on a gluten free diet. Staff do not communicate what food they are bringing you and put you in harms way to get sick.

Honestly, it is one of the best Italian restaurants in town. Their homemade focaccia bread is the best bread I've ever gotten at a restaurant. Overall had a great experience and I will be coming back for valentinesDietary restrictions: Gluten free and celiac safe options for most of the menu

This place has the best Italian food in Albuquerque. Recommend 10 out of 10. Food, table service, cleanliness, time waiting to be seated, and for your food are all really great. Can't go wrong choosing to dine here.

My wife and I have enjoyed Paisanos for may many years. Why?Consistency in food, service, and hospitality.I think I have tried everything on their menu 5 times and have never had a bad meal. The bread is my favorite. I'm a little olive oil and some pepper, and I'm in paradise. If you are reading this for a recommendation, then I say: GO and eat some of the best Italian food in Albuquerque.

Food is delicious! If you're looking for a place to dine, fine Italian, this is it. I would advise however, if you want cocktails, this is not the place for they have beer and wine only. But the environment and food again very very well done

Great customer service and friendly staff; however, the food was not it. The menu options looked tasty, but it was not what I expected.

Food is mediocre to say the least. And by reading the reviews and the distasteful comments by the owner I can see why ? This place hasn't changed at all. Once a dump, ALWAYS a dump ?
