I was reliable and delicious
They are the only Mexican bakery open after 7pm which is a huge advantage for us. Bake goods are on the soft and moist side compared to some other bakeries. The woman who works there speak a little bit of English and was helpful. There is 3% credit card charge. The area is bit sketchy after dark.

I was walking by on Louisiana after an auto drop off across the street. At first, the place is empty. Someone from the back yell out in Spanish. Im Native American so I didn't understand. I assumed it was self service with a stack of trays and tongs on counter. I selected my choices. Looked delicious, authentic Mexican pastries. Mmm. But the mood quickly switched when the counter person realized I don't speak or understand Spanish. I suddenly had the need to grab my pastries and run for the door. The negative exchange was brief but very clear. I can say, I personally won't be back anytime soon. Got home and brewed a pot of Starbucks and now eating a muffin on the deck. Which by the way is very delicious anf fragrant. Be blessed.

Paid with my debit card. They said it didn't go through.psid cash. Checked my bank account. It did go through. Do I wonder if the cashier kept my cash payment.
The lady never says hi even when I say hi first. She always ignores me. She doesn't come out from the back until I'm ready to pay. It looks like she is sleeping back there. The only time she was nice is when the owner was there, other wise she is rude. The bread is good or sometimes excellent, it varies.
