Food was good, nothing super spectacular. Got there right when it opened which was good because it filled up fast. A little expensive for a hole in the wall place but it was reasonable.
Food was great the cooks are amazing. Our waitress (with shaggy bangs, black hair) I give no stars if I could for service. I was looking at the menu not knowing she was standing there and says with attitude “ do you want me to come back or you still looking “ it would have been nice if she said “hi may I take your order” and not assume I saw her. Food came out and did not get checked on once. My son and I wanted to order another pancake, side of bacon and needed more napkins so I ask the hosts if we could get a pancake and bacon, I’m not sure where our waitress is . she replied “ I will tell her if I see her “ (????) I’m thinking ok meaning you’re not going to go tell her … so I gave both a benefit of the doubt . My son and I finished never got checked on so we could let the waitress know what we’re needed and wanting to add on. She took so long that my son and I ended up walking to the cashier to cash out without our ticket . Ohh but our waitress was so nice and welcoming to the next large table next to us (greeting and being attentive to them ) I’m not sure if it’s because I’m a female or if she only caters to bigger tables . I gladly did not tip for the lack of attentiveness, attitude and service.
good!!
Excellent New Mexican cuisine. This was the first time eating at PEREA’s. The food was just like homemade. I can tell they put love into their recipes.
You get one star because of the hours you're giving 1:30PM that's too early to close how do you expect to make any money 💰

$27.00 for two red chili egg, bacon and hashbrown breakfast burritos :( we understand theres a egg shortage, you would think that at that price you would at least have one egg in your burrito.. It was all hashbrowns with a slight bit of egg and very little bacon in the form or small bacon pieces. Gave it 3 stars because the red chili was delicious . Just buy some red chili and go home and make your own burritos:)
Top tier service. Great food. The chili is really good and they sell their chili in large sizes.
I'm a native to nm I grew up with a native taste for NM which traditionally makes red Chile from pods that are boiled and put in a blender this red Chile is ordered and it looked like it had a red dye not my type of chili. Tamales were not traditional made with corn husks either. Some white people may like it. But if your a native nm it won't be your style.
$60+ for two breakfasts. Sorry, Perea's is not worth it. Upcharge for eggs. Upcharge for chile. The food is good--but not at these prices.
