Pictured is the snow bunny. Very very boozy but unique creamy taste. Pretty pricey but environment is bright, clean and service was friendly. Closes early but a good place for a wine tasting experience or some specialty cocktails.

Hike With Adam

Haven’t been here in a few months. Decided to swing by with 5 friends after dinner from down the road. Walked in and was completely ignored by the bar tender. He finally walked over and was like can I help you with something? Like why are we here kind of attitude. Really bothered that he had to stand up and come over to us. I asked about beer selections…really lacking. We all kind of looked at each other and was like, this is not a good vibe and just walked out. Not sure what happened to this place but really sad experience and the last time we try it.

Let's go try a place we've never been. Public House made the cut and it didn't disappoint. In warmer weather it has a great outdoor patio (some sat outside) it adjoins a coffee shop I believe. Great space. You go upstairs, go to the counter, place your order and take a seat. My first try was Spanish 75. It was good but 15 bucks for it seemed a little steep in my opinion. If you mainly want wine this is a great place. Vara has taken ownership of the space in the Nob Hill area.their main location in near balloon fiesta park to the west and their corporate office on 4th (not open to the public). We ordered a bottle of wine while sitting in these great chairs. It was pretty quiet at 2 but started to fill up. Nice place, I plan to return in warmer months.

First night, Vara Winery and Distillery took over Public House, and we felt like we had to leave. I understand the celebration, but 5 - 6 kids making the place loud and crying is not welcoming to a couple on a date night trying to reconnect and get away from their own kids for a grown up chat and some drinks. Then the guy from the distillery walked up to the bar with a baby in his arms to order a drink, and my husband made a light-hearted joke about carding the baby, to which he responded that he owned the place. The vibe isn't the same. It's only day 1! While we enjoyed being regulars, I'm not wanting to go back. Love Chip, but no, thank you.

I've always wanted to stop in and get a nice fancy drink... but now I'll never go back. Laptops and backpacks just spread out on tables, chairs that were so wobbly I didn't feel safe sitting in. The bar tender talked over me and didn't even say hello when I came to the bar. I dont get tue whole students doing homework at the bar type of atmosphere, just thought this place a bit classier. And no food!? Not even a food truck. Super disappointing for how expensive my 1 drink was ?

Not flashy, but a comfortable place for a glass of wine with friends.

So you have vodka, gin, vermouth and olives yet you can't/ won't /don't know how to make a martini?? Totally lame; I'll take my dollars elsewhere. Talkin' to you blondie; not the sweet older woman new hire

Super pricey drinks, not worth the money. Two 8 oz beverages $31, and they weren't anything special. Went to Tractor Brewing and had a mixed drink (delish) and a hard cider for $15.34. This place not worth the money.

Always keeping it real with my posts. Didn't try the food or the drinks so I'm not sure about the service either. However the atmosphere was incredible! They hosted an open mic poetry slam where basically anything goes, stand up comedy, music, just an overall great night!

My wife and I went and got food from Doobie's smokehouse, which is amazing and walked over to play a family fued/trivia style game with other players. Again, good was amazing and they have local brews on tap.

I had the Stout on tap..It was a delicious blend of chocolate and coffee in a not too heavy stout. I will definitely be going
