I am from Florida aka the mecca of Kava/Kratom. My work brings me to ABQ every few months, so of course I have to swing by the only place around. That said, their product is extremely high quality. I gotta say their tea is one of my favs anywhere. Brewed the right way, for quality not volume. All the tenders are friendly and take the time to educate on the elixirs. Mandy, the owner, took the best of FL and made it her own. Do yourself a favor and stop by for a drink. Highly likely you will be back....can't beat liquid vibes!!!!!

Have been told about Kava and did some research; yesterday I decided to stop by and give it a shot.
Staff were friendly and very informative, as well as welcoming.
Kevin did a great job introducing me to the world of Kava.
I think I found a great tool to help me cut back on drinking, thanks!

All that glitters, isn't gold. Is the phrase that comes to mind, when I think of this spot. First time, I came in after researching the store and hearing about Kratom and Kava from various sources. I asked her about the product and she thoroughly told me, as we purchased 15$ worth of tea and had a free first, time shot. Well there was only one guy, there that time. Maybe, I feel, that's why she pretended to be polite. She went as far as extending her insincere welcome, even asking for me, to come back and show her skateboard tricks. Well I finally had my skateboard and skated by, and attempted to wave. I thought she couldn't see me so I came up, to say hi to her, but the young group of men there look at me, as if I was a vagrant and she was so cold. I've noticed addiction type behavior in some that over use Kava and Kratom, but if this is a 3 week change. I think I've made a better decision to handle pain and life's stress, the good old fashioned way. Exercise, Tea/Water/Coffee, And Joy (from working thru the stress). You know the kind you can keep. I'll try this again in my Senior years, in a more Authentic and genuine establishment, and rooted in Kindness.

This place is amazing. I recently quit drinking and wanted to find a new watering hole so to speak. The owner is a wonderful person and is very knowledgeable about the kava and kratom she sells. I found my new spot! I loved it here. It’s very relaxing and such a chill vibe. The prices are good, similar to a bar but there’s an all you can drink special for a super reasonable price. 10/10 would recommend. The Kava has an acquired taste but the effects are extremely relaxing. I hope this place stays around for good so everyone please give this amazing woman your business.
Cozy, calm and friendly. My first time in New Mexico and I find a Kava Bar! I drank their fresh Kava and decided to get some cans to go. I met really delightful people and enjoyed my nightThank you.

My daughter and I stopped in prior to seeing the Lost Boys movie at the Guild theater. And we absolutely fell in love with this place. Very cool vibe and atmosphere here. I could chill here all day long.

It’s been awhile since my experience here and I struggled to write this review because I have mixed feelings. First, I think the concept is great and it’s refreshing to see a new type of business other than the same over saturated industries that are on almost every corner in town (no hate, I love plenty of those local places JS). The owner and her employee were very friendly and introduced us to our first taste of kava and kratom. They were very knowledgeable and explained everything to us as we did a “cheers”. I ordered a kava tea while my partner ordered a canned beverage (I can’t remember what it was:see pic). Here is where the issue was for our experience. Not sure if it is always like this but they were blasting music when we were there. We came to relax…music is fine but this was really jarring. Additionally, the employee (after the owner left to an event) went to talk to the table next to us, and they were being incredibly rowdy. At the time we were observing a period of sobriety and one of the topics we overheard was about being drunk downtown. Yeah, not their fault-they didn’t know, but still the over the top conversation made us get up and leave. I finished my kava at home in a more welcoming environment and it was great. I’d still be down to come back and try again possibly. I did get a student discount while I was there with my ID and that was nice. There also appears to be plenty of board games and such to do while you are there.

Single star rating soley base on having the worst business hours ever for a Kava/Kratom bar.
Excellent kava!! The kava is smooth, with a strong affect, it tastes really good. In my experience this is exactly what you’re looking for if you want to drink kava. Mandy obviously knows her stuff and she’s a delight. She’s also got a bunch of other great products available. Try it out!

Workers are rude! The owners are Karen's! Very judgmental atmosphere. Some lady in yellow dress accused me of being a vagrant. They pick and choose who they are nice to. Very very distasteful and dingy business. Priced to high for cheap products they sell. Don't waste your time here. Move to the next.
