We were extremely excited that the food was supposed to be like the old Quarters barbecue, but it wasn't. The sausage links were not very good, and the rest of the barbecue was OK, but we had to use a lot of the sauce to make it taste better. We ordered the combo plate and ribs, and we were charged an extra fee for sharing the combo plate. We should have been told about the extra charge, and I'm not sure why since they didn't split up the plate or anything. Unfortunately, we will not be going back.

Had the Pulled Pork Plate with Mac & Cheese, Cole Slaw and Corn Bread.
Definitely the best pulled pork I've had in Albuquerque. And the Mac & Cheese and Cole Slaw were really tasty. Corn bread could be better.
But definitely 5 stars. I'd definitely order from them again.

Food was not what it used to be, for sure. Prices really went up! I am thinking that they will be closing down pretty soon. Another icon going the way of the dinosaur.
Finally closing after a long decline. Funny they blame the pandemic and politicians not propping them up.
Great BBQ. Excellent service from the bar staff. The best Long Island Iced teas.
Staff was incredibly helpful, kind, and personable. This is our new spot!
Devestated Quarters is closing BUMMER THAT WAS A FAVORITE EATING GROUNDS
Service sucks over priced and overrated ? no wonder the place was empty never going back
This place needs a definite facelift with the menu and fixtures.
This review is overdue - I last went there in Oct 2021. I ordered the French Dip and as usual, it was awesome. Bun is overloaded, can't put your mouth around it, but it is so good, Dip was tasty and can get a refill if need more.. This is where I learned what mouth-watering meant. Today (Feb 2022) I learned that they are closing the restaurant and am so unhappy. The BBQ is good, the beer was always cold, the servers were always friendly, and always greeted you as you came in. Sorry to see them go but thank you for over 50 years serving hungry folks like myself. Bon Voyage.

We have eaten at Quarters for 20 years and haven’t ever had a bad meal or experience there, until last night. First, there was full on yelling and banging in the kitchen. Not normal kitchen noises, but an active argument. The deep fried veggie appetizers were over fried and the cheese sticks had zero cheese and it was all very salty to boot. We both got the combination dinners. The layers of meat alternated between warm and cool in temperature and the meat was dry. We ended up boxing up our food to go as the entertainment from the kitchen continued. Needless to say, we won’t be eating there again. Wait staff was kind and attentive but without good food, that won’t get you far.
This place has good food and generous portions
Still best in town
My husband took me here for my 5 year anniversary. The service was great the food was excellent. Their chairs are the worst thing I have ever sat in. I may order takeout from here again, but I will not be dining in here again.
Always good and tasty
