We have tried to eat every Mexican (not NM) restaurant in the city and have been disappointed by all. Today we ate at Ramona’s Mexican Cafe off of Jefferson, it was PERFECT!!! The service was extremely patient, helpful, kind and attentive. EVERY plate we ordered was fresh, homemade and delicious. The aguas are fresh and not too sweet and made with real ingredients rather than powders. Salsas and chips were homemade and so delicious. My husband had the combo plate with an enchilada,...
My partner got the smothered burrito with bacon and sausage, green chile on the side and queso smothered.
I got Enchiladas Montadas with sunny side up, bacon, and Xmas, side of flour tortillas. It was one of the best places for breakfast, the food was flavorful and hot, while the servings were plenty. Anytime I'm in Albuquerque, this will be the new breakfast spot.

I've ordered from Ramona's a few times and always pick up my order.
Today, I went to pick up an order for my colleague and myself. Upon doing so, I dropped the food by accident and the staff was eager to re-make my order. I insisted not to as I did not want to bother them but they insisted on doing so.
