This should be called Sichuan Place or something. I understand they have to cater to other Asian customers that is why they have Pho etc. Really should just focus on South Chinese food tho. The serving size is family size so go with a large party if trying out this place.

Just amazing. It annoys my wife that I’m such a harsh food critic at times but I have nothing but good things to say about this place. I’ve been to a lot of Chinese restaurants in my day but this one is the winner!

We picked this restaurant based off of the pictures from other reviews that showed dishes that looked like the most authentic Chinese food and it was amazing! Beyond shocked how good the food was and truly top tier authentic Chinese food in America!! We met both the owner and chef, both were very humble and so happy we enjoyed their food. As someone who grew up on authentic Chinese food, you have to try this place and get their dishes! Highly recommend the pork seafood dumplings, hand-grabbed lamb chops, sichuan style shredded potato, dry-fried green beans, and stir-fried beef. This restaurant will be our number one stop next time we are in town!!

Vegetarian options: My sister is vegan and she had plenty to choose from including both veggie and protein dishes!! Also tasted amazing!!

Kid-friendliness: They have booths that fit the whole family which was great for our littles! Plus the owner was so kind to them and checked to make sure the kids enjoyed the meal too.

This is the best Chinese restaurant in New Mexico. We live in Santa Fe and cannot find the good Chinese food until we found Red chilli house in Albuquerque. The place is quiet and clean, the service is very nice and warm, look like welcome to home. And their grill fish, chicken, dumplings...are all amazing. I'll bring all my friend to this restaurant .I think after you try them and will come back again and again. Thanks Red Chilli House!

Kid-friendliness: good and safety place for kids. My daughter is very picky, but she likes their food. She request us to order their food again and again.

Very welcoming place, the aroma of the food being cooked reminds you how tasty and delicious other cultures food can be. The species were mix perfectly, fresh and tasty veggies and meats. I don't like peas but there wasn't that many in the fried rice that I didn't care they were there. Great place to go eat enjoy a great meal or take it home.

Had the pork bun and the wontons in chili oil. Food was okay/good, not great. The wontons didn't have much spice in the chili oil and the fillings of both were a little bland. The bun itself was done well.

Absolutely fantastic! The Koyama folks did a very amazing rebrand here! My ship fry was very good with high quality shrimp, hot and sour soup on point, and the beef noodle soup was divine.

Very good. Actually very very good. I will go back for sure. I wasn't afraid to ask for the heat.....and they were not afraid to bring the heat. Beef was perfectly cooked. Thank you, or should I say 谢谢. And by the way, don't get me started on the steam-bombs. What a treat.

Mixed feelings…service was not good. Waitress brought out the main dish first & then the appetizer. She walked away and we didn’t have any plates. Had to catch her attention to ask for two and she brought us these small saucers?? She checked on the table next to us many times. Didn’t offer us a water refill until the end of our meal. She never checked on us aside from that. Saw her standing by the kitchen just talking to a coworker. Waited and waited for our check. It was about 10 minutes before another employee noticed we were done and let our waitress know.

As far as the food, the eggplant with garlic sauce was ok, but the salted crispy chicken appetizer had no flavor. Was excited to check this place out, but left feeling disappointed l, unwelcome and ignored. Will stick with Budai on San Mateo.

We were there on the afternoon of Wednesday., 9/18.
