Used to get lunch here for my kid via school. It was ok. Some good, some not so much. The red tag from November 2024 should be noted by all parents who procure their kids lunch’s from this establishment.

I am disappointed with the quality of meals provided by Rhubarb and Elliot at my child's charter school. The food is often served lukewarm, at best, and the portions are quite small.

Many students have complained about the food being very unappetizing, bland, and having no flavor.
The menu options are poor and do little to cater to a growing student's needs.

Sadly, the quality of food in public schools is far superior to what’s being served here, and that is embarrassing.
Both the Rhubarb and Elliot as well as the school need to step up and fix this.

Have been eating and enjoying the healthy, delicious cuisine they make here for years… top-notch!

Caters my sons school lunches. They post the menu a month out and my son enjoys the food.

Rhubarb and Elliott makes lunches for my sons's charter school. I pay for the month of lunches online. Friday, Mom Im so hungry, lunch was just 1 slice of cheese pizza and a carrot. Tuesday, Mom I didnt eat lunch because they ran out of food. Wed, I dont feel full on their food. Thursday, it was just a baked potato. My son is so hungry when he gets home and doesnt feel good from the food. The meals are mostly carbs, too small of portions and not enough protein. I want healthy larger meals with protein to give the children energy to learn, be healthy and feel good throughout the day!

I never went here or heard of it.

always great healthy items. love the hummus and lentil soups but just started really enjoying the fresh bagels and cream cheese they sell! not many places to get true NY bagels

I think Rhubarb & Elliott is terrific! Our school uses them, and we have also ordered lunches at multiple summer camps over the years. For a time we belonged to JCC and I would eat lunch there, and we have also ordered salads and meals and had them delivered to our house ($5 delivery fee during Covid was a real value). I love their curry, and especially their gazpacho. My kids drool over their banana and pumpkin bread and smoothies. While my kids are pretty rejecting of variety at home, they choose all kinds of dishes for lunch, from Frito pie to Asian-themed to meatballs (and they do eat them, per their teachers). On the day when I forgot to order lunch for my kids, they were ready with PB&J and an extra lunch on hand, with no fuss. So I have been a customer for 4 years now and I have never experienced any of the negative issues some related. I think they put a lot of care into their menu, they have a reasonable price, and a great and generous ethic.

We just had R&E deliver our company lunch and used the “It’s a Scoop” menu. Everything was delicious and so unique and all the employees loved it which makes me look good since I’m in charge of the monthly luncheons! 😉 Travis was a delight to work with as well! Thank you and I look forward to patronizing your business in the future!!

Their drivers are awful! They just pushed me off the road!
