This was my first time visiting Rincon Del Pollo. It's a little hole in the wall in the far north valley. After hearing some great things about this place I decided to give it a try, and I am glad I did. There are only about 6 tables inside. It's not a huge restaurant but it's clean and the staff is super helpful and friendly. Order at the front and have a seat. I ordered the huevos rancheros with bacon and wow was it good! The Chile was delicious and the portion...
The food is amazing! Shredded beef tacos remind me of my nana’s tacos, it takes me to my childhood every time! Not a lot of seating, it is an old house so somewhat small, but who cares when the food is that yummy!!
It's a small, cozy, little family restaurant just a short way from the intersection of Alameda Blvd and 4th St. Their main menu features baked chicken plates, either a half or whole baked chicken, complete with refried beans and Spanish rice, as well as flour or corn tortillas ! They also sell breakfast plates and burritos until 11:00 AM, and also feature different daily food specials !
