I go to Roma Bakery about once a week. Most of their clients are reoccurring customers from the nearby residential community, downtown workers, and law enforcement officials. The food and sweets are amazing with a decent variety. Whether it’s for takeout or dine in, it’s always a great experience. Oscar is very friendly and makes you feel welcomed. I’m particular when it comes to coffee and theirs is one of the best. You gotta try this place at least once. There is free street parking a couple of blocks away and paid street parking along Roma (not an issue for me as I walk there).
Really excellent food. A classic staple and must try spot for busy lawyers and downtown folks to try. The owner is a very nice man. It has a great old time feel. I’ve never been disappointed.
Great food! Recently found this caffe and highly recommended it for breakfast and lunch!
Incredible customer service. I'm from outta town but would come back just for another bite of their almond bear claw 🤤
Love finding places like this — such a gem.
Greeted friendly. Informed of different items on menu, with favorites mentioned. Ordered a breakfast sandwich with bacon. Very tasty and filling. Music playing was Andrea Bocelli. Beautiful.
I went the Monday after mothers day because my husband worked and he was taking me on a date. All I wanted was a homemade croissant and they were one of the few places open Mondays! I’m assuming he was the owner but he was so friendly and professional. We got a bagel and croissant breakfast sandwiches and they were so tasty! The kicker was the delicious bear claw. The man was going to give it to us but we insisted on paying! My now favorite bakery!
The best breakfast in ABQ and the best owner!
Love their sandwiches with a cookie?
Amazing First Experience!
This was my first time visiting, and the atmosphere was incredibly welcoming. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted warmly and asked what I’d like to order. They had an amazing special— a burrito and coffee for about $9— which was a great deal. I also got a pastry, and it was absolutely delicious!
The burrito was a good size (I used a K-cup for reference) and packed with flavor. I ordered the red chile and carne adobada breakfast burrito, and it did not disappoint. The red chile was perfection—just the right balance of spice and richness. The food tasted incredibly authentic and homemade, just like something you’d get from a family kitchen.
I will definitely be returning!

Great little spot! Their burritos are great for breakfast, sandwiches are great, service is great and last time I was in they had a live violinist playing a nice variety of music which made for a very enjoyable meal.

Love it!
My friend always knows the best restaurants so I like to let her pick. Today was no exception. She brought me a red/sausage breakfast burrito from Roma today. I bet the sausage, and all components are house made, the exceptional love shows as all the separate flavors play well together, while staying true to New Mexico. Possibly the best breakfast burrito this Burquena has ever had. We'll come soon for the lobster bisque.
